Nice game, my new favorite. Can you implement some sort of piratopedia with info on all the gameplay aspects? I would like, for one, to know how exactly the different kinds of attacks (sails etc.) work.

Anyone else find it absolutely impossible to kill the Dutchman? I've even used dynamite for every shot. I'm using Ships of the Line, too

i have an idea about the money and the war points. maybe you could have something in the port/s that lets you train or research, but the more you do it the more it costs and it gives you war points in return of money

I enjoyed this game A LOT. It is an interesting and unique game that I have never seen before (Unlike most shooters/TD). It burned a good hour to two of my time. I would definitely like a sequel. Keep up the good work.

Nice game. I miss some things:
1- Balance between trade ships and warships.
2- Hijacking other ships like sid meyer´s pirates.
3- Any lucky or speed/dodge skill for the boats
4- Maybe contracting a crew member with some bonus to trade or combat.
Nice and simple game, congrats!!! sorrys for the misspelling.

1) I like the coin system, but the trade prices sometimes escalate to points where they become useless
2) It is very hard to tell how much sail an enemy has. Can you add an easier way of showing when a sail is dead-dead and how much it is at?

Anyone stuck for making cash - instead of destroying enemy ships, you should disable them (get their AP below 15 so they can't attack at all) the best way to do this is to target their crew - when you do, you get all their cargo. Try not to blow ships up at all (except the Flying Dutchman... duh)

I don't quite get it-- I've got 3 top of the line ships, fully maxed out, using dynamite with every shot, and the ghost ship still is kicking my booty. Not sure what more I can do.

if the weakest fleet attacks first, why when my total ships hp is 240 and I fight against town which ships is 800 and they attack first?

Eh not bad, farming WP for a ship of the line to beat the boss was annoying, but all the extra $ turned out to be handy for dynamites. Lots of scope for improvement here but a good start.

Well the people are liking this game but still the game is not complex or having a lot of features. The game has potential but its as if its a prototype. Say am thinking right.
I have played TRADE WINDS SERIES from BIG FISH GAMES . And am comparing this game to that, if you ask me I'll prefer that game.
This game is not having good storyline, no ingame quests no features for ships except that you can upgrade it but still it gets monotonous. No heroes
Please tell its just a prototye.
Plus you need to add more information in game,as already suggested by someone.
I'd love to see the full game

I finally found out why sometimes my boats don't fire. It's because you have to select the ship in order to target your enemies. Don't know how I could've missed that.

Some sort of explanation about what the different targeting options do would be nice, as well as the benefits. Is it better to capture ships, or sink them? From my own experience, targeting hull sinks ships best, targeting crew makes them easier to board, and targeting sails removes their AP. I also think it would be better is thier was a reason to take the clipper ship branch besides cargo. maybe if one was offensive, and the other was defensive? Or is there something I am missing here? Overall, it's a fun little game.

Could just be my hardware but the interface tends to be a bit laggy, specially once the game has been running for a bit, even on low settings. The ship tree could benefit from a zoomed out overview, so that scrolling wouldn't be necessary. 5/5 great game.

3/5 Combat is too easy and repeats itself a lot. I think some boats are useless (like the last cargo one). U make money too slowly in beginning, and too fast in end. Is too easy to take town from the mid game to the end. Casual enemies are too weak.

Does the tutorial explain the advantages of aiming for sails, hull, or crew? My ships are losing tons of AP when they are damaged, and I can't tell what type of targeted attack is causing it, or how I can restore their AP.

once you get to about tier 3 ships, the whole trading thing becomes useless, it's easier to just rip through lower level fleets and get the loot and coins from them, and also to keep freeing towns

Game had a great concept and executed it with extreme boredom. Ending was underwhelming and gameplay got tedious fast. 3/5 and that doesn't mean I don't want a badge for all my hard work.
