Erm VOGD you said the weakest fleet attacks first, But when i attack the pirate areas I cant attack first though they are much much better and stronger.

I retract my previous comment. I didn't realize, when in port, there was a star to upgrade things like hull, ap, etc. Lol.

I enjoyed it but it was too easy. It would be better if there was a penalty for losing battles so you had to be more careful about entering them. You should at least lose your cargo. Maybe on 'hard' mode you would lose your whole ship. The trading was good but could be better, maybe by adding news bulletins from ships you attack that give hints as to where you can find cheap goods, where there are shortages on goods etc. I could never work out the symbols on the countries. The ending was a bit abrupt and predictable. It would be good if there was some strategy to beating the boss other than just 'get the best ships possible and bombard hull'. Overall a good game, I hope you make a second.

To defeat the last boss just get the "line of the ships" ships or whatever its called on the right when you buy them fully upgrade them, use dynamite shots (5k shots) and aim for the hull. I survived with 3 of my ships still in tack so it was a good method.

Crew simply means people, if their are none left, the ship will just sit there disabled, unable to attack, so lets say the hall has 10000 armor but their is only 3 crew, target the crew for a fast end to the fight. Also the little dudes on the boat represent the % of crew left, so if there are still a lot of little dudes but only a big of ship, just kill the ship.
TLDR: target crew to avoid heavy armoured ships.

I cannot beat the last ship!! Everything is maxed out (I've tried both the clipper and ship of the line). I'm using the 5k bombs and I keep dying beofre I get the ghost ship under 15K. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!

There is something bugging me and I can't put my finger on it. That introductory song. I know it from somewhere. Any chance you can put out credits? It's killing me.

Too easy, no replayability, no reason to balance your fleet. You can beat it in under an hour just going straight down the righthand side of the ship tree.

Hull = HP
Sail = AP
Crew = makes it harder to board/be boarded
Cargo = how much you can carry
Damage = how much damage you deal when you attack
Please up this so people can see what the different stats do.

savedfile679: It appears to me the crew makes the ship harder to board. Makes sense I guess, when you think about it :) (did take me 200 days to figure out though :D)

use full points in almost everything, use ship of the line ,max out the hull and damage and use dynamite exclusivly = win:)

I feel that it's kind of unfair that when you get your fleet destroyed and have no money you have to reset because you cannot win any fights and you cannot repair your ships.

"the weakest fleet attacks first" My ships (2x lvl 2 and 1x lvl 3 ships, about 100 hp max) vs 3 ships with 200-300hp. Who attacked first? Sure wasn't me. Ouch. You might want to rework that coding I guess :)

The first few areas are easy to take down but it gets to the point where you have to grind so much to get another town. I'm not bashing the game, just saying it's not very balanced in that sense. Also not being able to have an idea on how strong a place is and then being pummeled is not very cool. Otherwise not a bad game.

It would be nice to have a short description or pop-up telling you what each different type of attack does, I seem to be getting "out-AP'ed" quite a lot!

Great, simple mechanics that always create a good and rather addictive game! Could of had a deeper story and upgrading to beat the Dutchman ended up feeling like a bit of a slog. Sequel maybe?

I used to be an Admiral of the Caribbean fleet , clearing the seas of pirate scum, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

Damn... I had already beaten this... now it has badges. But because I beat it, I cant load and have it see that I beat it.

The 'left' ships are cargo ships, if you like trading get them. The right ones are fighting and cost more war points. It seems to me though that if you go with the left ships you will have a slightly harder time killing last boss.

From what I could tell, number of crew affects boarding probability. Attacking the enemy ships' crew increases that chance. Kinda makes it an easy win actually.

Could someone help? I have been defeated and don't have enough money to repair my ship and any time I try to fight a ship I instantly Die. Haha I'm a bit confused?

The final boss was all luck, with fully upgraded ships it took 5 tries before i got lucky and the boss didn't focus my ships 1 at a time.
