This would be so much less frustrating if the jumping controls were better; to get back to the surface is such a pain in the ass.

Die Hard achievement is impossible. There's no way up from the lava. I tried drilling a hole all the way down to slingshot myself back up (going past the level of the center of the world), and it only gets me back as high as the top of the lava. I can't get back up to the surface.

Loved it! Really a great game: nice upgrades, very simple storyline (not good, but neither bad), interesting gameplay. I enjoyed it a lot, and i'll be hoping for a second game, maybe with new ideas, more intriguing story and concepts.

Complaints -
Unresponsive movement, climbing back up for that free recharge can be frustrating, the ground can look smooth enough to walk but for some reason isn't, jumping can take you backwards or not even activate.
Shooting this Drill is odd. A Tap could mine out a full line or a sneeze worth, costing anywhere between 1e to max at random, regardless of distance mined...

I can't even remember when the last mining game was published on Kongregate, it's nice to have another one. However, please fix the controls, because he walks SOO slow, and a single uneven pixel stops him. It feels so stupid because I have to jump all around to make him to get anywhere. It really takes all the enjoyment out of the game.

After wandering around for half an hour chasing the truffle, I killed myself, bought the second last upgrade for radar, maxed it out, and saw the last radar slows down the wanderer. Argh! I thought maybe I had to corner him or something. :P Enjoyable game!

some kind of jet pack would be super handy, climbing back up to recharge using the solar upgrade takes forever if you dig zig zag and is impossible if you did straight down...

Great game, but a tool or just a button to get back to the surface. As the mine shafts get longer and harder to get back up it doesnt feel the trouble to get back to the surface is worth the time it takes.

Easter egg: go to the surface. Walk all the way to the far left of the map. Now, look on the ledge/cliff. Same thing at the far right

Jumping and movement is somewhat slow, but everything else in this game is very enjoyable. 5/5, and I'll come back, after you get badges.

an excellent example of the importance of the discovery aspect of gaming, digging games are tricky to pull of due to the difficulty of plot but this does it nicely, looking forward to seeing how he gets off the moon

Ends too fast. I have only reached the beginning of level 4 tier and already died in lava. Fun game but feels like a beta to me.

Nice game, there's only one annoying thing: I shouldn't have to scan the area for hidden treasure for it to appear in already dug out tunnels.

A plane some thousands of meters underground. Makes sense I guess.
Cool game. I'd give you 4.5/5, but since I can't... 5/5.

Love the game couldn't stop playing till i beat it. 5/5 One thing i would like to say though is maybe a map when you fully upgrade the radar cause i tend to end up running around in a loop when i know there is a huge chunk on land some where rofl

The upgrades are very creative. Usually you mindlessly dig down vertically but in this game you have to think about what you are doing so you can return to the surface to recharge.

@Vogd: Simple ideas for the 2nd part: How about turning the screen, if you're near the core? So you have a whole world to dig around. In this case, a jetpack would be fine - consuming the same energy as the drill. And to play around with the ideas: If you upgraded the jetpack, you may fly to another planet as well (maybe as finish?).

Don't know what to say, but this was nearly perfect done. Only the too loud music was a bit annoying, because it overplayed the soundeffects. But didn't really matter, i muted it :). I'm simply waiting for the 2nd part, because the 1st made me play for over 2 hours now (and not ending in next time, i think).

Great game... I think I found a bug or something. Some times the "minion" is constantly jumping. Don't know why... Can you look at it?

One thing that would be nice is if the day didn't immediately end when you hit zero energy. I want to get to the surface and recharge, but I can't use my entire battery without the day ending. Also, possibly some sort of purchasable rope or ladder, in case I'm low on energy and need to get back up a steep shaft. Other than that, great game! Thanks!

Cool game. I think the energy cost needs to be tweaked a bit for the biggest drill, though. I made the mistake of upgrading that completely first and was a little surprised at the 30 energy a use when I only had like 150!!
