Atlatian Necromancer with WILL and INT all the way up roxzorz! Make a skeleton squad, recharge mana, go in and take out a few guys with wind, back out and have the squad run screen. Chargers were the death of me though. Watch out for them.

My tactic--Get highest willpower and heal spell. The more willpower, the faster your mana grows, the more you get to heal.... XD

Atlantian Lightweilder for the win. You get 4 spells to start off with, 2 of which are the best in the game. Flash Freeze will stop any kind of golem or boss dead in their tracks, giving you enough time to either a) run away b) heal or c) equip gear that is more suitable to your foe. This is crucial in the later levels. Equip a fish early on and rack up mana pearls/good gear. Keep anything that has alot of will, int, or stamina, bolt or swarm. Elemental resists are also crucial later on in the levels. Good luck!

Don't know if others have mentioned it already but it's not cool that your minions (skeles) can be affected by your AoE skills. =x

Awesome game! Fast and dynamic gameplay, really fun, no boring waits for skills, and all, its all quick, thats really nice. Everything works nicely, this game is really awesome. If there was a more complex rpg with this same concept, would be great. Just two things that I suggest, save sistem, and some tutorial explaining some advanced stuff. Doesn`t need to be those complex tutorials where you interact and stuff, just a text and maybe some illustrations would do fine. 5/5 stars anyway, loved it.

eventually it gets way too easy. The armor and weapons start outscaling opponents. I'm at the point where I'm hitting for 600 and take roughly 0 damage from everything so I just decided to die on purpose to end it

This simple issue might help me greatly, but is there any purpose for the mana pearls? I've found this game to be surprisingly more merciless than I might have first guessed, as I keep dying on later levels with a simple mistake.. if not, it'd be nice to see them get a real purpose other than as another point system that does nothing.

What language is the game speaking?
YO E OR
VAMPIRI EIN ES YO OR
YO IT ENEMY OR
YO E OR
VAMPIRI EIN ES YO OR
ENEMY ITS YO OR POISON ME

I am greatly entertained that I can create a Kitilid with the Marathoner title and make egregious use of the time-honored tactic of "poison your enemy, then run like mad"!

Tried and true concept boasts carefully calibrated character builds. Excellent replay value. Sadly, no story arc and glitches pervade.

I think this is my favorite Kongregate game. I love dungeon crawlers. I can think of a dozen things that would make this game better, but its already top notch.

I think it would be cool if you could go back and do previous floors anytime. that would let the people having trouble winning grind their levels up, and let you beast out on low level chars. Great game, but i would like to see more customization for your character. maybe somehow implement more permanent upgraded abilities. I never got to the point of being completely unstoppable, making my enemies cower in fear, and i like to get to that point in any and all games i play. 8/10

Just a tip for some of the mid-level floors where chargers come in...MAKE THEM YOUR TOP PRIORITY. Kill chargers first so that if you try to run, you actually have a chance at surviving, because they have unlimited mana...IMO, the order of killing should be 1) Chargers 2) Healers 3) Fire breathers. Also, lure enemies out one at a time by slowly moving towards the room until one of them comes after you. Rinse and repeat. Slow process, but can easily get you the hard badge.

I really like this game, but it seems like every time I play there's a new bug. This time it was, of course, the "YO IT ENEMY OR" glitch, but also, any time I would drop to the next level it would reset the spells on my hotbar. I was playing as kitillid magus, so I had the swarm and ignite spells, and every time I dropped down it would put them back in the 1, 2, 3 and 4 slots (including the big versions of each), replacing things like shield and frozen wind that I had there. Really annoying having to replace them every time.

Glitch: arc spells pass through walls. Apparently, monsters with charge pass through them too when attacked by this glitch. Dead at eleventh floor :(

I see a problem with the strength stat when I level up. It shows the number WITH the bonuses i have, instead of just the base number, whereas all of the other stats show the base number. For instance, it says that my strength is 18, stamina 20, etc; if I level those up to 20 and 22, when I open my inventory, is shows my strength as 17 + 3, but my stamina 22 + 6. Just something I noticed, didn't know if anyone else has the same problem

1- Some sort of bestiary would be nice.
2- Floor indicator
3- two instances of magic enable on one foe (You know, entangle and swarm)
Other than that, pretty cool game. But as in almost every dungeon game it tends to get boring later on.

im seeing some discussion on this, maybe it should be brought to the developer's attention. The damage feed in the top right-hand corner now reads "YO IT ENEMY OR" etc. and doesn't show damage.

This game needs a counter to tell you on what level you are.
Also this game now twice, uh "crashed" ? on me...I was having a nice run with a vampire in melee right now and when I approached the place where the boss is, I suddenly lost all of my hitpoints, my life bar was emptied really fast. Afterwards the screen just darkens and stays dark, no return to the menue.
Thats really not funny, I have no motivation anymore to go for the 15th floor achievement :/
Otherwise an enjoyable game.
