here i am, farming the hard badge for days, and just when i'm sure i will get it today, all of sudden, i can't move (however, i can mute sounds, open inventory, and cast heal spell (can't cast other spells such as charm and sanctify)) TWICE and i have to start over. should i rage quit?

You can drag items off your character to replace it with ANY other category of equipment. But only for the added effects. Example: You're wearing that useless ring that does absolutely nothing, and you just picked up a sword that will give you 3 str and 3 int. you can drag your ring off onto the sword, and it will replace our ring in the ring slot. Right now, im wearing two sets of boots and two swords.

found a glitch where you can kill an enemy infinitely to gain an infinite amount of loot. i didn't realise what was going on, and i was rising in level almost every second. i don't know what else to say but yeah...

this it what we all want. mana pearls are useless and all you get them for is a stupid badge so you should change that so you could like buy armour or something there should also be a save feature so if you have to shut down your computer like you have to go to bed or you accidently turn it off it would be good so people don't rage when there on level 10 or something I mean like they have been playing for 1 hour they don't want to lose all there items if you don't want to do that you could at least make it that your levels save if you die we also want to see how much damage we do altogether so if your using a used sword or fish of luck so if your strength is 500 it would do more than 1 - 2 damage right and we would like to see a multi enemy attack thing it would enchant the game a lot and make it like real fighting you can fight more than one enemy in real life right you could have 3 people attack you and you would try to attack all of them right we would

@ Cheski: Thanks, but it's working for me today (maybe because I clicked "Play" BEFORE doing Cinematic Mode). I'd still like to know how to do that, though! :-)

A very good game but could use some tweaking. Obviously, the save feature that allows us to save our characters so we can return to them, floor indicator (self-explanitory), and use of mana pearls (correct me if I'm wrong).

Is anyone else having problems with every screen beyond the main menu being off-center so the playing area is pushed to the lower-right offscreen? I'd like to earn Sunday's Badge of the Day for this, but if the game's currently broken... :-(

Just got to 30,000,000 wealth, floor 74 before i decided to commit suicide. Eventually once you get high enough they cant damage you. At 9000 HP (500 stamina) you heal faster than they can damage. Also at 400 strength you are hitting 20,000-30,000 damage 1 hitting everything.

I've played nearly every build setup and my 2 top builds are werewolf/cursed and werewolf/wanderer. It's all about building strength and stamina for late game. Ive tried building for spell-work before and got to floor 20 using mainly bolt @ 200-300 damage a hit, but eventually you cant use this method in the higher floors. Therefore I advise maxing up hp/str with lower will if you want to get into 20+ floors.
Bolt is great for the lower floors though, even with a strength build.
Once you hit 50-70+ str try and find a good critical strike weapon, because all of a sudden crit hits can hit 200-350 at just 60 str while using much less mana than your normal spells.
I would also highly suggest getting a hold of 1 or 2 50+ resist ice items by floor 13 or 14. If possible get one 50+ ice resist and 1 +50 fire resist. This will save you once you face the speed ice warriors starting right before floor 15.
p.s. always have item item with heal spell

Reached lvl 131 with Cursed Werewolf and got bored. I get no dmg and I 1hit everything! After some certain floor everything is pretty the same! :S

Even only seeing the top left corner of the character creation screen, and reading the comments, I can tell that I'd probably really like this game. If only I could play it. I tried to change the size of the screen, I even hit cinematic, but nothing works. What do?

It is a good game but there is an issue for those who are playing mage types where after you cast you run at the enemy which has killed me a few times since I put all my points into magic based stats when I'm a mage

should make the werewolf be able to summon wolfs instead of health regen and make a frost troll who's health regens realy fast

werewolf reaper, level 87, 3,968,550 mana pearls
level up like this : strength -> 50, will -> 50, strength -> 70, stamina -> 50, will -> 100, stamina -> 100, strength -> 100. After do what you want (I increased only strength after)
Must have >= 100 in ice resist the earliest (all of my deaths came from the icy guys)
50 resist fire if you want
With all of this I take entirely room whithout a die, and i love charm the mobs and look them kill each other :D

After 4 years I FINALLY got the hard badge for this game. Got to floor 12-14, died and rage quit multiple times. Anyways, it was a 5/5 in 2011 and it's still a 5/5 in 2015. Fantastic game.

Build 3: Necromancer Hero
Design: Vampire, Cursed. Mega-charge those physical stats and intellect, that will save your life. This class specializes in being a freaking tank, so, get shield items, and also a heal, wild charge, and critical strike item. Armor rating needs to be pretty good for this class to be mastered. The idea is to let your minion(s) do most of the physical damage and tanking, while you deal long-range AoE(Area of Effect) damage. Be wary, however...The minions will only let you get a tiny bit of protection in later levels...
Build 4: Jack
Design: As the name says, a jack, a master of all things. Balance out your stats for this one, and use bolts, swarm, and shield and critical strike items for the spells. This can be any combination of armor, and also, it can be any class or race. Anything goes with this one, aside from spells. Those, you need to use what I suggested.
I will add more later.
