Charmed enemies usually just stand there doing nothing, instead of attacking you. Although charmed healers do heal you, charmed melee units aren't much use to you in fights (usually). I believe this is a bug that needs looking into. Great game though!

Golem lightwielder, with a lot of points in willpower for the heal. Tip: You can cast as many santifies as you want on yourself =P. I cast 5 on top of each other, the boss couldn't touch me.

one little thing...when my demon puts a helmet on, his horns are "under" it. i was curious as to why there not on the outside?

I encountered a killer glitch. My golem dissapeared, along with all the enemies, rapidly took damage, then died. x__0

Draconian Lightwielder is pretty good as it combines the offensive Draconian fire breath with the defensive healing abilities of being a lightwielder. It allows you to clear the first few levels really quickly just by using fire breath. Make sure to level up willpower and intellect

Bolt is just broken, it owns all in this game. You'll need a backup spell for the rare immune, but that's it. No wonder none of the races have it as an option...

I found this rather annoying glitch. The game freezes and I level constantly. As in constant xp gain. That gets slower and slower. It wouldn't be a problem exept I can't get out of it. As I said, it's very annoying.

Oh yay. I use charm, and get murdered by the boss cause my ally wants to watch me get killed. Did I mention I lost all of my magic, so was completely defenseless? The charm ability is almost useless in this game. It's just a hyped up entangle.
Although the game itself is amazing. 5/5 without a doubt.

I'm starting to like this game. Simple and addicting, like a lot of the hack and slash RPGs out there. It's a good idea that should be built upon. One thing, a save feature would be nice. I hate starting over again when I have to close my browser. Other than that, it's great. 4/5

This is a great game. I have always liked the Diablo style slash and crawl. As every other person in comments has said, Multiplayer would be bloody awesome.
5/5

@deathace185 You do realize FATE is a ripoff of Diablo, right? Which is a rip off of EVERY SINGLE OTHER ROGUELIKE CRAWLER GAME IN EXISTANCE. Genres are not rip-offs.

I have the same problem as Xela134, it blocks the half of the screen.
(Yeah, i continue asking how to fix the screen-bug until you stop rating down, goddamnit. People ask how to get that bug fixed so they could actually play the game and review it, but you just rate the comment down so nobody couldn't read it.)

Really like this game! but since there is no save button, it kind of ruins it. I will definitely come back to play it again if there is a save feature.

on the fourth floor i was running in the boss room with like fifty guys behind me and when i walked into the room, everyone dissapeared and i just kept running from them, but then the screen went all blac excempt for my guy and my health completely drained and now the screen is black with nothing on it and wont load anythin...

love the game but hitting the wrong key and igniting when you need to heal and then dying because of it feels pretty harsh. I'd love an autosave for the start of each level and with a few spots to try out different guys without losing one that took awhile to build.

Heh, It's too bad Fire Blast only sets the damage over time on a single enemy. Nearly died when I gathered about 15 monsters together, blasted, and only killed one of them. Whoowhee that was a hard fight.

Kitlid necromancer with ( very ) high intellect :) Really fun way to play.. Snipe the healers/bosses with swarm, then run behind your 3 skeletons :)
The lack of a save option actually made this character to commit suicide :( ( donned armour and weapons and ran into a bunch of nasties )
Death should be final in this game..lack of time requires a save option!

Great game, simple, but it has some depth, it needs a lot of fundamentals to take it from a 4 to a 5 though. Keyboard shortcuts man, keyboard shortcuts! ESC should close menus, B or I should open/close the inventory.

Fun little game, but needs a save feature. Also, maybe its just me, but I'd like keyboard movement at least as an option and the ability to start auto attacking something if they're attacking you. And, why do some items list the same stat twice instead of just listing the total increase (i.e. boots with +1 stamina, +1 strength and +1 stamina instead of +2 stamina and +1 strength.) It's just a little a little thing but it strikes me as odd.

I like trying out all the different race/class combos. So far my favorite is Atlantian Necromancer. The main problem is without a save feature I often have to go get myself killed because I want to try a different combination or have other things to do.

Golem Cursed w/ Deadly & Devastating = Best build. The cursed really helps fight with diverse attacks and when you get to a higher level, your basically unstoppable. Must with shield and heal abilities because at a low level you run out of hp fairly quick. Try to get a armor set that increases strength & stamina and you'll be fine. Amazing game i might add, 5/5

IF you have double of spells it should make it a higher level increased strength version of the spell.
Also great game!! i've replayed it and gained 5 titles including the abyssal, devastating, and Bonebane.

Enemies need a cooldown meter or their own mana pool. Too many times have I got bullshited by enemies that literally spam their somewhat overpowered abilities (I.E. Enemies with Charge).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i actually have a slight complaint, if you get far enough down the levels the boss seems to stop changing (the green ball thing) and never gets any stronger. Being at floor 130 I can easily one hit it and it doesn't drop anything good. Other then that it was fun and it used up my time pretty well ^^

Kitilid Wanderer, dump everything into willpower and intellect. Get an item that will give you entangle.
Great at AOE killing of large numbers of units. Hit and Run style works best.

For the people that don't understand what we mean by save feature:
We want to save our progress, like titles. The dying thing is fine, but sometimes you have to close a browser and then your progress is lost. To me, it feels kind of pointless because while the game itself is fun losing progress is not.
