hi guys, i just wanted to explain what thortuga meant by: demon is listed twice on the race selection, and it is, DEMON Human Atlantian Vampire Golem Celestial DEMON Dryad, see? demon human, then it goes to demon dryad, so it must be listed twice, + this so that Void can see this, and correct the mistake :D

overall a decent game, too repeatative (as most are) and has its flaws, specially why do i collect mana pearls? Ive yet to find any use for them, you could add a vendor to sell or upgrade gear. Also are there any better items then rare(blue)? So far havent found any, those would be nice, and as many have said, SHOW the dmg you do with attacks, would be nice to know if i should sacrifice dmg over item finding or some stat/spell. A little tweaking and will be pleasant to play. (also show lvl)

screen doesn't display properly, can't use any weapons/armor/items picked up or even see what has been picked up. Nothing carries over from one game to the next.

For those asking/wondering, this is what is called a Dungeon Crawl game. The object is to get as far as you can in one life without dying, while collecting money/gear/perks that carry over after you die. In Hack Slash Crawl, you get titles that give you a starting boost of stats or abilities to improve your chances of doing BETTER in your next run. What title you get is determined by how many Mana Pearls you collect throughout your run. There isn't a save feature because there isn't MEANT to be a save feature. You're SUPPOSED to start over each time you die, which gives you incentive to get improve your skills(not your character's skills) so that you DON'T die, next time.

no save option and dying once sends you back to lvl 1 w/ all weapons/armor/xp gone. just made this game a 2/5 from a 4/5 for me

you shouldn't be able to accidentally drop through the hole at the end of the level until you are done w/ the monsters in that room or at least there should be a question screen asking if you want to pass on to the next level so that you don't miss out on weapons/xp points by falling through unintentionally.

The game deserves 5 stars and a fav :D, no doubt. However, i feel that the necromancer's summoning is underpowered - minions get better (with intelligence it seems to me) but not above the level of those weirdos with two jawbone axes... Would be good if their stats increased with intellect, since it would be a bother to create more undead just for necromancy :P. On the other hand pumping your necromancer's will and intellect makes him a great mage later with or without skeletons...

Having an issue with the medium achievement , I collected 25,000 mana pearls, went down a floor, and did not receive it. The achievement states that it is awarded when you go down a floor or die.

Finally got the hard badge after several tries. I was Golem Wanderer, which starts you off with some resistance to elements and higher stamina. The spells I found most useful were Charm and Heal... you really don't need anything else if you have these. Focus mainly on strength and stamina, the latter being most important. Do make sure you have some Willpower, as you will need it for healing and charming... but spells are less important than health/health regeneration, and basic strength with a melee weapon. Great game. I love the difference character combos to experiment with, and that we get bonus options when we lose... gives more incentive to go back and give it another go.

GOLEM WANDERER is my favorite choice. Wanderer is better than Cursed because many enemies are fully immune to an element, making the Cursed's attacks often weak or useless. Wanderer still gets half the resistances that the Cursed has, plus it has the regular melee attack, which nothing is immune to. Wanderer also has better overall stats than cursed. GOLEM WANDERER with all Strength and Stamina added, and gear with resistances is probably the best melee build for late game.
