NEEEEEDS a save feature, was on 14th floor and went to change tabs and accidentally closed this one so now i gotta start all over, didn't even get a new title :(

At least some of Bzykacz's formulas are wrong... to demonstrate this, I started a character with 10 more strength than normal and attacked an enemy. The starting weapon is 3-5 base damage, so the result should have been 13-15 damage to the enemy. Instead I got 6-10 for the weakest starting enemy. The only thing that would explain this is if the enemy had an armor value of roughly 8 (according to Bzykacz), but I really doubt those green fish at the start do. Please plus this and minus Bzykacz's comment so that nobody else will be mislead.

I found an auto level up glitch. I'm not sure how I did it, but I think I launched a spell the second I leveled up. I leveled until I had 70 str. It would have been awesome but I couldn't get to stop leveling and I could do anything.

Save button would be great. Also, how do I know what floor I am on? I have been at it for a while and have to be on floor 7 or 8 but trying to get to 15 and do not know for sure how much farther I have to go. With no save I don't want to stop before reaching 15.

I think you have to check the AI of the hero, when i want to go to other place he hits against the wall... however, i think is a fun and nice game!, congrats!

I have the same problem richardlycn. The playfield is offset down and to the right, effectively ruining the game. I can't even access inventory so I can only make it to the third level if I'm lucky. Anyone have ideas how to fix this?

its nive that i did all but the hard badge before we had them. and its nice that it remembered i did them. would have been nice if it had remembered all the titles i had......

For the hard badge I just went with Vampire Reaper. You only need to use critical hit. Divided my points equally amongst the 4 traits, but I guess there are better strategies for that. For equipment Prioritize weapon damage and fire and ice resistance (preferably both 100), and it's pretty much cake. Only 'hard' thing is to try to avoid groups of 3+ as much as you can.

Why is it that when I start a new game, the playing screen is all the way down to the lower right with no way for me to move it or even pretty much play the game at all?

A good way to tackle hard monsters (but not bosses) Is to charm them, then cast a passive attack against them like frozen wind or inferno.

Made it to 1,000,000 pearls then I accidentally quit the browser, this game isn't worth playing seriously until there's a save feature, if only because it takes too long for a single sitting! Everything else about it I love though

Kitilid necromancer is a good build for new player who haven't earned many good titles. Let your skely pals get dirty while you stand back and poison anything powerful enough to squeeze through. Swarm is also a great boss killer, and in the long run does decent damage even to enemies resistant to poison.

A great build is a fire and ice speedcaster. Since there is not much delay between casting spells and not many units resist both types of elemental damage, this build rips through enemies on higher levels.
Just use an atlantian magus and distribute the skillpoints evenly between willpower and intellect. In the beginning you have to use a hit and run strategy, but the more powerful you grow the more enemies you can take on at a time. Use frozen wind to hit enemies through walls so you can kill those safely, also when facing bosses keep a flash freeze at the ready to make an emergency escape and return when you've recovered. Don't get surrounded by enemies and fill up all your mana before moving to the next room.

Discovered a slight glitch. While playing, at around the 8th level I think, the game froze near the boss. While it froze, my characters experience bar shot to the end, earning a level up. I selected the stat boosts I wanted and exited, only to see it happen again. Repeat about 20 times, before I started clicking wildly around the room before it let me go, only to discover a HUGE amount of weapon/armor/mana pearl drops in one corner, which slightly froze the game whenever I got near them, but did not hamper my ability to pick them up. After about an hour of cleaning them all up, and reaching around 400,000 pearls, the game continued normally. You might want to look into this, in case something is wrong with the code.

@iivvoo: Cursed converts the physical damage you would do into elemental damage, so strength is the relevant statistic. I just tested this with a pair of cursed golems, one with the strong and herculian titles and one with the genius and intelligent titles. The strong one does more damage of any given type to headless skeletons.

there seems to be a problem with spells swapping themselves in the quickbar on level change
would also like more keyboard shortcuts
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it not clear to me if you play the cursed, so you have all physical damage converted into magical... do you receive bonus from strength or intellect? is it convert_to_RandomMagic(weapon+strength) or convert_to_RandomMagic(weapon)+intelligence ?it's a pretty important thing...

Cool game, but I wish the structure was just a little bit more forgiving. One mistake can often lead to a sudden inevitable death, mainly if you accidently startle a big group of chargers.

I ran in to a bug where I first fought something I couldn't see, then it kept levelling me up for a while (I ended up at about level 76 on floor 13 but still died due to overconfidence, running in to a room packed with monsters!)

If you have a screen centering problem, Ctrl + 0 (the number) will automatically re-size the screen the default, in Firefox at least. Then you can zoom back in.

LOL!!!! Im diing in 14th floor when i kill monster near boss then just disappear and lost all health and mana in second >.>

There's the formula in the one of the "best" comments:
"Decrease of damage in %"= 1,2 * ("armor" * 100) ^ (0,5)
or
DamDecrease% = 12 * SQRT(Armor)
But it's somehow wrong. According to it you won't recieve any damage with armor 70+, but now I have 83 armor and still recieving lots of dmg.
Maybe there's a constant in formula or just an armor cap, I don't know.

Vampire Reaper is a combo so epic, that you need to be VERY unlucky to die: the ability to spam critical hits with lifestealing, mean you hit HARD and heal at the same time...

Save Feature and a way to see what floor you are on would be nice. Fixing bugs like the offset screen, freezing up and dying, and items behind walls would help. There should also be something for the mana pearls to do.
