Child's has worked well enough for me, that the second time I used it I got far enough to get all the upgrades plus 4,000 extra resources. If you get all the upgrades to your base, you can switch to the base-def strat. once your capacitor breaks. Its sort of a two-fold defense.

really? because I've found that if you just have the main base left, then it's really easy, because once you reach a point, the missiles are close enough together that you can take out a large number of them (on a good one, around 1/2 of the screen's missiles) just by hitting one, which sparks a chain reaction, but that may just be me...

Child's strategy is the best way to go, even though it relies upon 1 a lot. Once you get the separate capacitor, the flak cannon is the best defensive thing you have. I've gotten a lot farther using it rather than the "forsake all but your main base" strategy You can use that as your last resort when everything else is killed.

actually, keeping the Childs defense up until it falls apart is the best way to go. if you are good enough, you can keep your 1,2,3 & 4 going for a really long time

hate to say it but lobstermobster is right, the best way to go on is upgrading you main tower and leaving everything else, eventually one building will get damaged and then you wont be able to use his power, after that the strategy collapses and well you fail...

The upgrades are neat but the way the game's balanced now, the best way to go is to ignore everything except your main missile tower. The other buildings don't provide enough of a benefit to make them worth protecting, especially since the powers consume their shields. By the time the game really gets going, you simply cannot protect more than just your main building. You don't have enough missiles.

perhaps you should add more upgrades in the next one. like faster missles, larger explosion field, and individual flak guns being avaliable, that would be cool

Great Game - loved missle command, love this even more. On an interesting side note, this game has 62 pages of comments in 10 days.

Fun game, well deserving of at least four stars. The tactics are challenging, and I think the powerups help the game a lot.

It's missile command, which is not necessarily a bad thing, I just wish that missiles that hit my explosions dies like they do in the original.
Nice additions to the game, though, what with the upgrades and all.

this is childs stratagy, just so people wont hatva goto like the 5th page to find it XD
you have to keep your left hand on the hotkeys 1,2,3,4 so you don’t have to stop killing missles.
First thing: You have to save up 800 then buy your 1st missle upgrade, then save about 800 more and upgrade the flak as much as you can, then upgrade the shield siphon so you can keep the flak gun running the whole time. Next you upgrade the EMP as high as you can so you can just clear the screen. Right after you do the EMP you need to recharge it with the shield siphon then just keep upgrading.

I have gotten all the Impossible marks but the disabling the missiles. The first time i played it knocked it all out. But got 301 disabled. Wonder if I can use the EMP to get credit for that.

5/5! But i disagree with cchild, waiting for 800 resource is a really long time, i lost my flak and shield buildings by the time i had 800 resource, although it might be my inability to play well!!

asdfhjlgiduy... I'm terrible at this.
I love the music though, and I especially love the varied upgrade system. Unfortunately, i suck royally. The only award I've gotten is "Crosseyed" for 27 consecutive misses.

child's strategy is really good, flak runs almost 24/7. only problem is if you EVER touch the slow tower, the strat dies, as too much energy heads toward the slow, making the emp and flak die

too easy... just let everything die but the main tower. then just focus on the green missiles and the ones with the parachute close to you. finaly, keep the missile launchs close to you and you survive as long as your patience allows.
