Recoil was annoying at first, but you get used to it after awhile. I never needed the punch button but I think it would be better placed on the shift key instead of the ctr key, as it's easier to reach with the left hand and continue to move. Might be nice to have a restart button when you game over, instead of having to go back to the main menu.

got into a glitch that made me unable to punch and took away my weapons, but I was able to walk through the gates of level 4, 5 amd 6 without killing enemies. Now I'm at the boss with all weapons, but i didn't unlock them. It's weird!
Nice game,but i keep shooting backwards, that is annoying =P

ForceTen, I use ratings to decide which games get badges. Thing-Thing 2 had a 3.88 before this badge was added. I try not to take newness into consideration too heavily, but ideally, once the older games are "filled out," most new badges should naturally wind up in new games.

i liked it! although the story could do with some work...feels too much like thing thing arena right now. and people who complain about recoil must be trigger happy cos all u do is use burst fire and its easy. or use shotgun that has hardly any recoil.

Great game. The recoil makes you place your shots more carefully rather than just holding the button down. It's not hard to get used too. Stop whining people!

Hmm...some of the music and sound effects have been taken from a game called "Vectorman". Took me a while to place where I'd heard it before lol.

Great game 5/5 and people dont be dumb asses if there was no reciol that would be as unatural as a pig suddenly sprouting wings and flying away you cant fire a high powered machine gun and there be no recoil.

the game is okay like the idea of recoil but... it's boring and i hate the fact that your enemies are unarmed. Theres also a bug when you shot a lot at the stomach it will disappear.. But good concept you just need to work on it 3/5

Wow, easy peasy, less than 25 minutes and got 4th rank or above on most levels. stop complaining about recoil, something that makes a game harder is not a reason not to like it, unless it's a bug, or the result of poor scripting.

i have to agree, recoil is a bit pointless.
either you use shotgun/handcannon for one/two-hit-kills, where it's pointless, or you fire away with submachine(little hint there, there is a maximum recoil, so just keep firing and aim like 90-120 degrees away from where you want to shoot...that way you hit 'without recoil')... -_- other than that: fun, but very repetitive. some more diverse 'objectives' would have been fun(even just a timed level where you have to race to the finish, e.g.)

I liked the recoil, however, there was way too much recoil, and so it looked kinda... unrealistic. Also, like people said, it rendered some weapons (machine gun) almost unusable. 2.5/5 (voted 3/5)

Not a bad game. I didn't think it was as fast-paced as it could have been, and the weapons were a bit poor and uninteresting, but otherwise it was alright. The last boss was pretty cool, and I would have loved to get his gun at the end of the game. A sandbox/level editor mode wouldn't have gone amiss either.

Basic Guide:
Run away from people who are running after you, shoot them. Shoot a certain number to keep walking though the level. Keep shooting the endless amount of people who appear to come out of nowhere with the intent of punching you.
Oh and Jump over the holes. Rinse and repeat.
And why on earth was recoil added? For a game centered around killing hoards of people....

I figured it out, if you quickly change direction near the edge of a level it shifts the playable area in the direction you change to. But because I was stuck on the level I got 727 kills.

I'm stuck on a level there's no exit. I think the move able screen has shifted to the left because there's a gap at the start of the level you can fall down.

Unlike most people, i thought the level of recoil was good. Made it hard to shoot constantly... Bit more tactical that way! :o)

@hitorikii: exactly. I hated the machinegun. The ridiculous recoil rendered it almost unusable. In fact I stuck mostly to the first gun, and finished the boss off with the shotgun. I also used the shotgun to camp crowds when I was low on ammo for my handgun. Boss was easy, plink him from above, when he goes up just hop down and wait till he goes back down, repeat.

Not too bad a game. Not the best, but fun while it lasts. I can understand the comments on recoil, especially for the submachine guns, but I found them useful, once I developed the trick of aiming around ninety degrees down from my target and letting rip. Recoil never pushes the gun past a certain point, so after the first few wasted shots, all your bullets go right on target. Not the most intuitive, but not too bad.
