okay, my character randomly stopped responding to my commands... and immediately died to hades... not even close to cool, especially as i was at full health...

The easiest way to kill Hadies is get to the armory with the gauss shotgun. Pick it up. Get past the zombies with out using it. There will be another armory with a panzor jackhammor in it. pick that up. Right now you should have a 100 shot guass shotgun and a fully loaded panzor jackhammer. Go into the room with the three teleporters. Keep at least 20 shots in the gauss shotgun and 100 in panzor till Hades. Then just get under him asap and unload. I killed him in less then a minute. YAy. Also one of my favorite games. 5/5

I >would< give it a 4/5, despite its flaws, but because ive tried to remap the keys four times to no avail, i drop said rating to 2/5... seriously, i hate the default layout.

Zaraki: you can see how many levels you've completed by looking at the scores at the right panel (or the panel besides the Game screen inside the Flash screen).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@zaraki: you're almost there, there's just one elevator level between that and Hades. || @reflected: you get the Hades rifle after killing him once, and restart the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Alright, just try to back Hades into a corner, then double jump forever and brain him with the lead pipe. Bo-ring. Cheap too, since there's really no other way to do it (unless you have a ton of ammo).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
and if you look at the walls/floors thing, it's because the guns themselves have no collision data and can reach through walls/floors, bullets come from the end of the gun, which may happen to be on the other side of the wall, anyone can exploit this, if you aim correctly, it's easiest with long weapons (I.E. the Socom, a shotgun, or the Hades rifle)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the boss is easy
get him to back into the wall on the right, take your sword/pipe and just keep jumping straight up and hitting him in the air, if you line it up right, he'll keep trying to back up and hit you instead of shooting, but the wall will keep him in place

Alright, figured out the way to survive with no cover is just double jump forever. Reached Hades containment, and he's a huge pain in the ass. Near 2-hit kills at point blank and at a distance his leg impalement really hurts. Damn this boss is cheap.

Dude! You just completed the Live and Let Die achievement in Thing-Thing 4 and won the Live and Let Die badge and 30 points!
Great game ;)

I'm so glad you allow enemies with a shotgun (or any weapon for that matter) to shoot throw walls or floors and kill me with one hit! You must have been reading the user mail I sent you asking for this!

What's this wave of interminable extermination mayhem games? Please, developers! Give us time to think, breathe and have fun. Not all are 12 years old digital brainwashed kids.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's a lot of great stuff here, but the game itself really puts my patience to the test. Seriously- five minutes worth of enemies to open one door? I play flash games to keep from being bored, not to become bored.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Natter91: yeah, the weapon switch system is crap. Sure, it's more "realistic" but combined with the random (?!) way doors open (how? per kill? time?), it just adds to the frustration. Right now I'm stuck in the Genetics Lab level. It's a deathtrap: flat floor, no obstacles, and a door that just won't open even though I've managed to stay alive >5 minutes. That's just insane.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
At the very least, you should automatically pick up a better weapon of the same type that you're already carrying, instead of taking the ammo and making the better gun disappear.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The best in the series. the health thing was a very good idea and all the weapons were awesome. however there should be more meelee weapons and a practice mode like in 2. also they shouldnt all have guns. other than that it was really good and i dont know why people are trashing it so much
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's ridiculous. I can hardly pick up ammo of weapons on purpose, all the enemies just crowd around me, so I can't get a decent shot >:(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is a bit of a let-down after the last ones. I liked the system where you can unlock better weapons, because then, you could tell most of the time what's better. This way, you're under fire, you can die in 3 seconds, literally, and you need to choose a weapon, exchange it for what you have, test it to find if it's any good, then get ammo? No way.

106 Kills on one of the levels right after the zombie level. Door doesnt open. I have officially lost 2 hours of my life to that lvl and i give up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really felt like i was a small very slow walking yet fast jumping box that everyone liked to shoot at, and never ever missed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
all thing-thing games are very bad, but this is an outrage. Kongregate is missing the point when promoting bad developed games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It was good, but the ammount of people needed to kill to open a door was a bitch much
EX) the lvl after the zombie room no room to manuver, most guys have shotguns or grenade launchers = not too much fun
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The "Health Bar" that blocks your view has to go. The game is super boring since most of the levels are flat and you cannot dodge most of the enemy shots. 10 enemies on the screen and they dont miss a shot? Pretty exciting. Maybe their next game will be the same one, flip a coin, and if you are lucky, you win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with a lotta the people here. The other Thing-Thing's were decent, but this is just bad. In fact, it's pretty horrible. The creator(s) got really lazy with this one, for sure. The previous games were pretty sound "hack-n-slash" via bullets, but this one doesn't even accomplish that very well. How do you go from knowing how to do something so simple, to not knowing how to do it at all? Very disappointing. This game's a chore to play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@DanteLord, have you actually played the game? This sucks. the most it could possibly get is a 4/5 star. all the others were 5 stars but this is trash.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love all of the thing things but this one isnt as good as the others. I think you are trying to hard to make it good. Thing thing 3 was the best of the all and U was hoping this was going to like that one.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think this series is amazing and this is a fine addition.. The lack of life bar add a very nice twist. I also like that you finally have a melee weapon. Did you ever think of redoing the first game? Because that would be nice after all of this "storyline" stuff (which is also very good)! 10,000,000/5

113 kills later, room after the zombie room, the door opened. Whew. Wasn't very fun bashing spider boy brain's in with my pipe. Unless there is a sercet way to get guns in that level??? Still had some fun with thing thing pipe 4 (sorry I had too.) Just a few kinks is all. Ending was good because it wasn't a "hero's" ending.
