Why Kong would ever use this game for a card challenge is completely beyond me. I couldn't even muster the will to play it solely for the card - the terrible and repetitive gameplay sapped my will to live long before I finished the challenge.

Like sage79, I only played this one for the card (well, and the badges). The subject matter isn't for me--it's really disgusting. And the gameplay is not very good. There are so many little things that are irritating. All in all, there are too many Flash games like this out there. Too many.

ScaryMaursluker: your computer probably just sucks. lower the quality and turn off the music and sfx and that should help you out.

Only reason I played this game was because it was the card challenge. It's so-so. Not very unique really. It's basically the other games all over again.

jwchemery: that only works on "regular" levels. It's a completely different story on the multiple "elevator" levels, where you're in an extremely confined space with plenty of enemies who pour down from (and can shoot through) the platform above.

I loved the previous parts but this is pretty boring, to tell you the truth.
It's more like Thing-Thing Arena 3 than Thing-Thing 4. The levels are small, you have no choice in what path you take, you end up in a corner with a hundred people coming at you every five minutes... You improved the graphics but dumbed down the gameplay.

I'm not a fan, to be honest. Very technically proficient, but the gameplay is lacking. It seems like your typical Newgrounds "Let's listen to Linkin Park and Papa Roach SO EDGY" gorefest, but when enemies take so many hits to kill that isn't fun. The lack of a health bar doesn't work in this kind of game, and the weapons are seriously underpowered.
There are far better games (the Whiteboard based Desert Strike game, Warlords &c) that should have got the card - so I'm sorry to say only 1/5 from me.

Seems like people were so focused on making outstanding graphics in the game that they forgot to work on more important things such as gameplay.
There should be some graphics options besides the quality, such as for blood, backgrounds and debris. Some people probably have lags even at lowest quality which makes the game even more boring than it is. Also what are sub-machineguns firing? Bullets? Seems like they are filled with bubble gums, since 5 shots in the head is not enough to kill the enemy. Madness Interactive - The Godfather

lol pipe is the best weapon ever, just stand on a spawn point and ure within minimum range of every gun there is. but 4/5 becos thing-thing 3 is better :S

get 500 melee kills then you get the sword....and I think getting 1000 kills(or completing normal mode...I think?)unlocks the armory..and I have still yet ot beat hard mode...it's way harder..

The lag is terrible, the blood health meter, while good in concept is terrible in practice, having only two guns while more realistic is very annoying, especially if you have full ammo and want to try a new gun, even if you pick up the old gun again you lose all the ammo you had and to top it off it's not reporting to kongregate properly. I killed over 120 guys with the lead pipe and got past the forest section and I have neither the kill drill badge nor the card to show for it. 2/5

I'm not a fan of the Thing-Thing series, so I haven't played it for a while, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the things I didn't like have been fixed since my last experience. :) Not bad at all.

great game, love the realism of bloodshot for health(nice tuch from GoW) and i like hw you can only carry 2 weapns and a melee. great storyline too. only downside is the AI need polishing, if your to close they wont do anything so you can kill them with melee, and they jump when you jump, which is f-ed up really....and on the level after the first zombies, if yu hide on a upper platform, they jump around like bouncy balls and manage to kill you in one shot out of no where. so i rate it a 4 out of 5

It's pretty stale. Some levels require a lot of kills to move on. Any good game reinforces a sense of anticipation and accomplishment, so a return to the kill counters on the doors would help immensely.

lol it makes sense, an experiment has gone out of control after sick of being experimented on and tries to kill his maker, it runs crappy for you because you have a shitbox computer, it has no health bar, it just has blood that comes up around the screen, havnt seen the latest games that do that, call of duty 4 modern warfare for exsample?? this game is just crappy because you cant play it.

nvm got him. just run back and forth and shoot at him. dont stop moving. i used the 2 shotguns, but there are probly better weapons for the job
