The levels with the celing opening after you shoot the red light, how do you get up there? the double flip/backflip dont seem to get enough air.

Ugh. The recoil is horrible in this one. Mind you I enjoyed most of the other Thing-Things, but when my gun is sitting on the ceiling in a high-ceilinged room, while I'm crouched on the floor using it like a turret because of the recoil, there's something wrong. I'm not even kidding, level 5 bottom room I had my gun touching the ceiling while I was crouched on the floor thanks to the insane recoil.

Finally completed this game, mastering the backflip is a must to complete this game since you don't take damage while in backflip mode. Rating: 4/5

dam the graphics keep getting better and the game play keeps getting worse. this game has become complete garbage from its roots. Its almost as if it keeps getting rushed out after the graphics are finished, and its not play tested. Similar to a lot of mid budget games. Any how, now I'm just flaming so Ill stop.

really? they gave a laser cannon before the zombie part? damn, must have missed it and only had my 2 fav wpns, the bloody lead pipe, and trusty socom 11

no idea why everyone has such negative comments... such a action-packed game! XD. Only thing annoying was the amount you had to kill near the last lvls, about 100~150+ kills for the doors, and that zombie lvl was gay as hell, but only lvl i can think of getting the med badge.

What's hard about ducking the entire time and shooting. What's hard about keeping your laser cannon they GIVE YOU the room before the zombi room. If you suck at this game, hate yourself, not the game.

Game looks interesting, pretty, liked the concept. Gameplay is....kinda sad. One dimensional, repetivie, boring, simplistic, by the 4th area I was in pain from boredom. Mind you im not a fan of any of the thing-thing games. But I really dont see what this new one is supposed to add. 2/5. Not my type of game.

If you are having trouble, just remember that the pipe is your best friend... In elevators, stand on one side of the hole and just keep swinging it as they drop. In areas with teleporters, just stand on either side of the teleporter swinging it as they pop up. The helecopter level is just as easy. When it uses its gatling gun, drive forward, when it drops its bombs, either stay forward or drive backward if you have time and room.

Just tuned in - but I'm fairly sure I already have the Healing Salve Card (Earned Nov. 06, 2007) - Does this mean I get two?

and to the author's credit, I know she/he/they understand how to make at least fun games, as Diseased Productions is responsible for Endless Zombie Rampage which I do like. To reiterate, this game is not that.

Most of the negative comments here match what I'd like to say. I'll add one: I hope that the reason this game gets badges and a card is because of technical reasons (aka. they put in kongregate scoring and other games didn't), and not because of some sort of nepotism. This game is a gore fest, and at that it's fun, but it's not what I'd consider a *good* game at all. For a gorefest, I'd much rather play the Visitor.

I can't get the card, nor the badges. Even though I've done everything needed.
"Complete level 14 – Shoot down the first boss, then start your trek through the forest. Best so far: -1."
Right.
Well, the game is a little too repetitive, and boring. Just wanted to get the card.

With the great anticipation for this game, I find the game somewhat anti-climatic as the plot tends to get repetitive over time and just the way the health warning is made, it is highly irritating. Speaking as a fan of the Thing-Thing series, this is just barely comparable to the first Thing-Thing, making the 2nd and 3rd installment far better.

Oh look, it's another addition to a series of unimaginative games. It's like playing a point and click adventure where the only puzzle is "use gun on man". Christ, I can't even bring myself to playing long enough to get the damn card. It's obviously made for t3h h4l0z generation. All you do it stand there and shoot, it's boring and stupid. While I've been typing I've been letting them shoot at me. I ain't dead yet.
