Thing-Thing 4 requires hq processor to run it smoothly. On my PC is just about 8-15 fps...
Too many bugs.
Very hard (especially last levels)
One THING I like the most..
If you get hurt, screen turns red :D
For slow fps and bugs...
2/5

ok, played again..
changed my rating to 4/5
the problem with it, is that it isnt accecible enough...its too hard on the first level..for me anyway..with constant spawning enemies..should have introduced a better learning curve or something.
Also, as soon as you start the game, tons of weapons are thrown at you, and you dont have time to learn which ones work best/you like most..
thing you shouldve introduced more of a learning curve, and a slant on how things are introduced into the game..

I like teh gfx, and alot fo effort has been put in which is refreshing, but the gameplay is nonexistent and i think people expect a little more nowadays!

It's a good game in the beginning, but there are some parts of it that are just stupid. Like all you have to do is camp at a teleporter clicking a button for about 5 mins just to advance. It should be more like, progressing through a tunnel, killing anyone who comes past, rather than standing still waiting for a door to open.
Also, i ran out of weapons in the hades fight so again, i just went right up to him and he couldn't shoot me. I had to whack him in the face with the lead pipe for about 10 mins before he finally died.
This game has potential, but the above points drag it down to 3/5

spartakips, you want some reasons why some people consider this one lacking? From what I recall of the other "thingthing" I played, the levels in this one are smaller and take just as long. Puzzles of some sort? Maybe a maze or mini boss with the key? Nope, just kill guys that spawn from this teleporter device until said door opens. It's not like they enter from different areas either, it's this 1 teleporter thing that you camp at. They don't even attack you if your standing right upto them, you can just whack them in the face with a pipe and they'll just stand there and die. With this kind of set up, I don't even enjoy killing the enemies.Sure splattered guts are always fun, but an endless zerg instead of smart AI is a poor way to make a game harder. Maybe those that dislike the game didn't give it enough of a chance... or maybe it's because we're, I don't know... Individuals with different tastes :P?

4/5 Seems much better after you finish it. I like the aesthetics and the overall atmosphere. It's somewhat painful to control at times especially when theres a lot of things happening at the sametime..but gets fun after you get used to it. Biggest problem is with too long sequences of boring endless splatter just to get the door open. The feeling should be more like shooting everyone that gets in my way rather than "can i go already, please". Still it is a very good game once you give it a shot.

So the graphics are good.
But theres a lot of bugs,
the controls don't work too well,
and its really repetitive.
Not a very good game.
2/5

Is it just me or does the flash file only excecute properly 1 out of every 10 tries?
I have noticed a few framerate and slowdown issues, especially when there is lots going on.
Good game though :)

I, personally, enjoyed the entire Thing-Thing series. It's very repetitive, though. Shoot a number of people, go to the next stage. Rinse and repeat. It's pretty fun to just go on a killing spree, which is pretty much the point of the game. 4/5.

if like the game go play it on crazy monkey games there might be less lag"
Yeah well i do like the game but at the same time i really want that card... I'll guess i'll have to get it on my friends computer... which is a zillion years old... but it started to lag so much that i cant get past lvl 7...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you get lag after killing alot of people, also the targeting is slightly off your gun fires higher then where you aim, this is bad if you want to go for easy kills by getting head shots
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well my Pc is kinda new so dumping it would be pretty F***ing stupid...
Meh it just lags when more then 3 enemies is on screen at the same time... but its really bad
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well this game was fun... for like 5 minuttes or so... then massive lag starts and it close to impossiple to play... Even when playing on low... i my pc isn't old/crappy... if there were anything lower then 1/5 this laggy piece of shit would get it.

this game is a 0-5 not only the storyline is diffrent but also when alot of guys comes the game cimplety go out of control there to many gltiches , bugs so this game sucks.. 0/5 get it off this site and repair it first
or do we alwas put on half maked games on sites?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is too bad because I loved the first 3 and the 2 arena games but this one is terrible. Focused so much on tying the story together that he forgot to add in the killer sweet gameplay that made the rest so fun. The only holding two guns thing doesnt work at all especially considering you cant switch with guns of the same ammo type. The respawners are boring and repetitive you just spend each level camping at a respawn point until they pop out and you kill enough to go to the next respawn point. I dont care if this makes a little more sense than the magical endless foes coming from off screen it was more fun that way. Thats what the Thing-Thing games were all about for me and this is a major let down

Badges and cards make the games more fun, because then you have an actual goal. I like playing for badges because it gives me a reason to play. Sure, this game is fun at first, but there are issues.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
die every 5 secs, only two weapons constantly running out, I liked previous thing thing games but this is not as good. The graphics as usual are great, but if not for the card I wouldn't have spent 5min on this. 2/5

Horrible! How many kills for level 2?? I searched for an exit of some kind but no then i realised i have to kill certain number. I was at 238 kills when trying to kill with a pipe then message - U died. Oh god its good to die!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
WTF? if these people are going to make a second part of a game then make it different than all of the other ones? a different story wont cut it fellas, 0/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
4/5. Gameplay is entertaining, but some levels drag on way too long when you consider how repetitive they are. This would be a 5/5 if levels were shorter and frequently more exciting like the boss level with the chopper.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is the fuking worst game on kongregate, its boring, its terrible, i no how to use the aiming but it is till a total piece of shit, when u loose health u cant see anything and its gets a card? wtf -5/5

For all the people complaining about it not loading, just wait a while. It takes a little time, then it starts loading at about 75%.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wasn't one Thing-Thing enough already? Such a tired game.. I hope it's put out of its misery soon. I like the storyline... a bit, but gameplay is just terrible IMO. So repetative.. takes no skill..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
u can also lead pipe zombies really easy. I got like over 100, then got bored. Just spam lead pipe, and run around them. If you get hit, just jump around till u heal, cause they don't shoot. Awesome game btw. 5/5. Much better then a few of the previous versions.
