One of the worst games I've ever played. It should be better than 3, but it is a million time worse... extremely disappointing after such a great thing-thing 3.

If you're suffering from lag, just lower the quality! It's not rocket science. It's on the options page, it runs completely smoothy on medium for me and my comp is 6 years old.
I like the health set up, more "realistic" and much more like modern fps which have abandoned health bars as a whole. It starts going red and you run away, it's great.

ok. i get to level 5 and i am now officially hate this game.. poor and annoying controls, lags all the time, and the play is just boring .. bah.. I do not need that card so much ..

Warsoldier, there isn't a health bar, there are random blinding blood splats. Insane health:enemy ratios ought to be the most nail-biting parts of a game, but here they're plain old annoying because you can't see a damn thing.

The reanimator room is really boring(especially if you only had a lead pipe before you entered the room). After getting pwn'd a few times in the room after that, i decided it wasn't worth my time. I'd say that it's relatively boring, but it wastes time.

For the first thing-thing killing hordes of enemies was acceptable. 3 sequels later we are expecting something more than just better graphics! Maybe a bit more originality and less repetative violence. Disappointing. 2/5

Right, due to the insane amount of bile about to come out, this is going to need two posts.
This is really quite dull, which is a shame since I enjoyed Thing Thing Arena. First off, what the hell happened to the health bar and what's this crap you've replaced it with? So when we're about to die, you blind us so we can't do anything about it? Simply idiotic.
That Reanimation Chamber. The fact that you run out of bullets does nothing to make it any more tense, and the fact that we're fighting off hordes of zombies with a lead pipe is just dull and drags on so so long, which I never thought I'd say about being dropped into a horde of enemies with just a melee weapon.

Another thing - if I've got a fully automatic shotgun, I do NOT want it replaced with a pistol. I want to be able to throw away the pistol, and then get two awesome weapons, which I will then throw away as and when they run out. OK, fine I can swap between the two, but that takes time, and at the later stages when a couple of seconds will kill you, I do not want to be picking up pistols which then replace my grenade launcher.
Despite those huge and irritating faults, it is endurable to the final boss, unless something insanely stupid appears in the however many levels it is between me and him. It's worth three stars, and I think I'm being generous. Maybe 4 if the final boss proves to be utterly awesome, maybe 2 if it goes even further downhill between now and then.

I really don't like this game, It's incredibly laggy. And the idea of simulating recoil on the guns is horrible in execution, the fact that you pretty much can't aim after a couple mouse clicks and the endless enemies makes this real tedious real fast. And whats with the doors taking forever to open? I've usually run out of ammo and have resorted to jumping around and using the lead pipe half-way before the door is even ready to open.

Fun game, good graphics, but it grows repetitive quite fast.
Got the hard badge, wasnt too bad except lvl 25 or so (after the reanimator room) which was extremely tough, used like 15 attempt to get the needed 100 kills there which I found a little too demanding.
For Thing Thing 5 (the end clearly builds up for that) Id like to suggest a life meter, a lvl indicator, a mini radar and a little better weapon handling system (maybe an option to autothrow away emptied weapons).

on level 8 i think, look for a red bulb on the roof and shoot it to get the floor underneath accesible. Then look for a keycard and drop down directly below from it to get some good weapons including a benelli shotgun with 250 ammo

What is this, a game? Jumping and killing the same enemies for hours in order to open doors? Definitely not worth my time! 1/5.

It was fun until I got stuck in an elevator with just the lead pipe. It also gets really hard to see when you're close to death.

If you are having lag problems, try using Internet Explorer. Firefox sometimes lowers framerate for some reason, although it's still better.
