it gets decreasingly fun as the game goes on, started pretty great though. It basically boils down to abusing the enemy ship/ai for the win. Not the funnest. 4/5

Really lame how you lose the fourth star when you take a single pulse from poison when another one of your planes was dumping it or something, ESPECIALLY since it doesn't flash the screen or whatever so you can't even tell
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok maybe it can
but i got it. advice: hit it with closest plane always having shields active to protect the ones behind it.while theones behind it SHOOT THE DANG THING!

Great game, but has some major pains.
First, an undo feature. It can be VERY annoying to fight a battle to the very end without taking a single damage and then get hit once because of a stupid maneuver.
Second, a way to set the quality. It may be the high level of detail (smoke, fire, etc.) or just that damned swftracker site, but on my PC this constantly lags, sometimes so badly that I can only see the starting and the ending frame of a turn.
Make these two minor upgrades, and this game will be one of the best ever.

@piwo Maybe you didn't see the loading screen where it says "Changing History"... or perhaps the fact that almost everything the game says is MADE UP.

Blitzkrieg was first used in Poland in 1939.
Not in France. Shame on you for ignoring the brave men and women who died.
1/5

Also, I would put the stars on screen while people are playing (small, at the top between the other stuff), I frequently wondered if I had hit my own poison, or on the multiple plane maps, if one of my planes had been shot while I wasn't watching. Stars on-screen would provide immediate feedback to the player.

very very nice, well done. Fix the "pointers off the edge of the map thing. If I'm not dead now or next turn, I should be able to click my pointer to turn my plane from the edge of the map. Still, that's tiny and the only thing I can think of. Great fun. 5/5

pretty big bug: the pointer controlling plane direction can go off map (i.e. it's out of sight in an area you can't scroll to), leaving you unable to control your aircraft.

Very well done, start working on the sequel. I don't think you need to worry about appeasing the ADHD Kong crowd that is obsessed with upgrades and achivements, its great as it is!

lol, behemoth is easy, jsut distract it with one plane and shoot it with the other 3, once that stops working ur free to full out assault, i onlyl ost 1 plane that way

very good game, reminds me of 'achtung spitfire'. it has some flaws though: you can fly straightforward and get hit by your own 'poison' which is kinda annoying when you want to get 4 stars. also map end is cruel because it doesn't say anything about it and you just die if you fly behind it, and even worse once you put order you cannot drag it back so your plane dies next turn.
more planes to choose would be nice and some sort of pre-battle sqadron outft.
i don't think 'upgrade' system is necessary, but few hints on enemies/abilities would be also nice. i had no problem figuring out which enemy will shoot back even when i'm behind it (preety much everything except fighters) but apparently some people had :P
i give 5/5 cause it's somewhat original ;)
looking forward for update/sequel

Would be much better with plane upgrades, player upgrades, different types of player planes and more levels. But overall, a sound game.

5/5 I miss turn based gaming. The only thing I would like to see is an undo function. It might lower the overall difficulty, but it would allow for multiple attempts at coming up with novel ways of winning.

too short, too linear, needs more levels and more options like being able to pick the planes you would like to complete a mission whether you want heavily armoured, highly manouverable or awsome weaponary or a nice balanced mix, over all too limited and quite worthless and slow gameplay, no challenge at all, needs major work and overhaul
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Game is a little lame, you have the same plane and same abilities over and over, I would like to see some upgrades, better planes, some kind of multiplayer mode, something to use the stars on....oh, I gained a rank...whats it for?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game is awsome. why not take it a step further and add costimization? maybe even multiplayer? it's still a great game and is a great base for a better one.
5/5 stars

I was all set to like this game, then I spent 1 hour kiting a blimp because it refused to %$^#ING DIE, then I accidently forgot to set one of the planes, which flew head long into the fortress, costing me the stars I was after.
You've got to be kidding me, This is elaborate trolling.

@fatso324 to beat 1948, slow down at the start a little to allow them to catch up and then just deploy your poison a few times making sure you dont go off the map, that should take care of 2 of them, now just do the same looping round in a big circle, taking care of the other small plan and ten just out manover the big plane and get him from behind

I agree with klamp maybe a 1066 type pre battle planning and a shop that you could by units in the points that it takes from the pre battle planning budget like points not your cash( preset points per each battle) along with attaching abbilities per each plane and you have to level up each plane to add replay value you know. ( i know I play too much games).
