I like the concept and this feels like a cool first step, but I'd like to see a second game expand on it. I'd like to be able to select my plane load-out before the missions and an upgrade system would be awesome.

I would like to be able to choose what upgrades I have assuming they've been unlocked in the story, but I understand that at certain points in time you might not be able to manufacture biological weaponry, for example. 1945 is extremely hard -- After going for the blimp it ran to the safety of spotters... I managed to kill the spotters, then used a bait technique with the shield planes, tailing with the superspeed planes, but eventually the blimp killed all my planes. I ended up with blimp having 1/4 health and spotters dead. Too hard :P

For all the people who can`t figure out the powerup: Hover over the move icon and click the SuperSpeed powerup. You'd think that with a giant arrow pointing to it, most people would get it.

This reminds me of some cardgame that's out there....oh here it is, Wings of War.

Really fun game, although a bit harsh n the ratings and not alot of variety.
If there was a 4.5, that'd be my vote.
but 4 it is, cos it's alot of fun, but not perfect

1948 is one of the easiest, just fly straight right and use poison gas to kill the small aircrafts and the flying wing is weakest against attack from behind.

On really sweet idea is like what they do with Gem Craft. Have each stage give me power up points based on how well I did. As I get stronger I'll be encouraged to go back to earlier stages with my new power ups and play them again, getting a better score / ranking and getting more power up points... this really makes the game addictive. Plus I have to have the most power ups possible for the last stage (though you make it so I dont need ALL the power ups... since I may want all the power ups to be in a sort of god-mode last stage)

Pretty good game, but SERIOUSLY needs an upgrade screen. I'd like to choose what abilities my aircraft will have for the next mission, not just be stuck with what you give me. Would also like to fly something other than Bristols over and over... or fly against Turtles. Also would like to see much bigger air battles... not just 2 vs 3.

What the hell do I do when it says click to the powerup to continue? I've clicked it at least 50 times and it hasn't done anything.

Would be cool if you had a "research" option to unlock manuevers for your planes instead of just being given different ones every level.

Eh? Mission description; brave pilots volunteer across the country to be bait to lure the enemy out. If they're the bait, where the hell is the snare?

maniac, read instructions, btw, i would like a hint of what plane has what kind of range (around him, or just in front of him)

fun but the blimp is killable but the 2 spotters are only thing left that kills you so kill blimp your dead kill spotters your dead from weakened troops.

also @ Arjunrah "2/5 because your planes are too stupid sometime they dont shoot even if it would good to shoot -.- "
that's because your guns are jammed, duh... dont rate the game low because you didn't check your plane's condition/hp

For 1948 you start out by running away and dropping the green cloud. The enemies will go through it and you can take 2, maybe 3 out. The rest are easy picking after that.

Definitely enjoyed this little intro to your game mechanics. I'm really looking forward to a full-scale implementation: Selecting or even customizing aircraft, and as others have mentioned, fixing the issue with the movement arrow ending up outside the map. Also, since this is also turn-based, a multiplayer version of this could work well.

The cheesy way to beat 1948 is to just fly in a straight line and gas over and over until you kill all the fast planes. Then take out the flying wing.
