I've gone four games now with no chances, well I had one in the fourth game but after I scored it gave me an authentication error. When I refreshed it came back to the beginning of the second half and I didn't get another chance. I'm pretty much done with this game, I'm sick of wasting energy bars and match fitness bars only to not even get a chance to shoot at call. They may as well call the game "I am trainr" instead of "i am playr". Not to mention, some of the training games can be incredibly frustrating if your stats are not up to par and once you do some of the later training levels you end up wasting a lot of energy if you can't pass it. I agree with Tomotion there should have been a practice round for the training, or at least a first time try for free so you get the swing of each one.

@bestcousins: shooting 24 is actually easy. You want to hit the middle (500). Shoot high and at 70-80% power, so the ball will hit the ground, bounce back up and make right through the middle. Once you get a hang of it, it's almost an automatic pass every time!

what if there were only 1 currency (money) and it paid for everything, shoes, extra energy, cars... and then if you really want to, you can buy extra with kreds.

this game could be great - but in the end it is just frustrating. With as much commercial product placement in the game, you would think they would already be making enough money and would want you to play more.
Bottom line - Training sessions cost too much. Beginning training sessions are too hard. Videos are good touch - but most the ones I see are about how bad I am (so now when I see Gillette or Nike I feel bad about myself - good marketing).
Shoes cost way too much - I still haven't been able to buy a pair since I only accumulate 5 gold per goal.
Should be able to start over.
Not enough tries during games - if you happen to miss one then there is a 90% chance your going to loose that game.
Once you get to level 4 training you can only try about 3 sessions before you are out of energy and need to wait another 2-3 hours to try again.

Am I the only person who can score on this team? Love those types of games. The rest of the team sucks so hard you have to be perfect. Yes, that was sarcasm.

Strengths - RPG choices, story videos, graphics, game play.
Weaknesses - Lag, crashing, havent had one clean sheet in over 30 games, only have 1 or 2 chances a game (which would be ok if we didnt also concede 1 or 2 a game), there is no character that is actually respectable or enjoyable (from the girls, to the manager to team mates, they're all douche bags) the training games become impossible to get gold on, every item is too expensive, with all teh product placement surely its worth having more people play the game, rather than try and force them into buying coins.

I have played over 30 games, and not had my team keep one clean sheet. Absolute joke.
great game oterhwise, brilliant concept. But so many frustrating aspects that just kill the fun.

Petterson, on the halftime: "Son, the team will create the chances, I expect you to use them as well" -- Knowing the game, don't need to say I didn't get any chance at all.

the lag stops me passing the training meaning I get less match fitness, meaning I play less matches, meaning I enjoy the game less

Worst example of freemium I've ever seen on Kongregate. Better pay up if you want to take a shot. Better pay a lot more if you want some boots that will give you a chance to make that shot. Otherwise, boring as hell since the update.

Season goals so far: Danny Deans - 7, Bill Laidlaw - 4, Me - 42...and I just got yelled at by the boss for shocking performances. Some of these "story" segments need looking at. I've somehow ended up shacked up with this Natalia and I don't remember having a choice in the matter

Why is Danny Deans so formidable if he only scored less than 10 goals during a season and is still more famous than me, who scored some hundreds?

I think I've also played my last match, mid level to bad teams regularly score 3 and 4 goals on us. They have goalies that seem to be unbeatable. I can't remember the last time deans or laidlaw scored a goal. And the only thing I seem to get from daily bonus' anymore is energy. I thought the second to last update was awesome, but you went and screwed it all up with this cup thing. Too bad too, cuz you had yourself a pretty good game here. No fun anymore. Maybe I'll check it again in a week or 2 to see if you've fixed it. Changing rating from 4 to a 1 till you do.

The match fitness daily bonuses don't seem to be working, I'm clicking collect on it when it shows up but I don't get the match fitness bonus and it won't show again assuming I have already collected, possible fix please?

YOUR game is still full of bugs jsut now i was winnign a match 2-0 and scored a 3rd goal, the game got authentication error…I had to refresh and when return the other team had scored to make the match 1-2 instead of 0-3 in my teams favor as it was before. To make matters worse i got no more chances to score and the other team tied the game before it ended messing up my season ranking in error.

Enjoyable game, but definitely needs fixing. Just got knocked out of the cup in quarter final because the game glitched and the screen went black during two of my chances

After the last update, it's stuck in the "Refresh to Authenticate". I click the button, it refreshes and takes me back to the same button. I used to really like this game but the last update definitely ruined it and made it very unstable. Bring back the old, good, working game! Plus this so the devs see it.

Liked it at first. Thought the live action videos were a great touch. As I get into the game more I find myself waiting for energy and not playing and then not getting chances once I do get a match. I'm pretty well done with the game.

I love the presentation, the live action videos are a really nice touch. My problem is, the gameplay feels tacked on. I can't shoot to save my life. It feels like a dumbed down version of New Star Soccer. If the gameplay was more enjoyable, I'd definitely stick around; as it stands I'm probably done with this game.

every season before last update I was first or second at end of sesason,and now 8-9th place..Deans and Leidlaw score every 10 games one goal,one or no chanches per game..summary : I'm getting frustrated and losing interest for game..it could be a great game , but now , that's yust not good enough ..

The hitbox for the goalie's animation is entirely too big, where sometimes he is no where near the ball, and he still blocks it.

A timer to let us know when we'll lose focus and "miss" our chance to shot is very much necessary. Particularly as it varies depending on the type of match chance.

Ok, so I understand I've been drinking and the coach kicked me off the team. But then why is my match fitness consumed? I didn't play that damn game!
