Great design, concept and everything, but making me wait hours for energy refills definitely nailed the coffin. Not worth the time.

I guess I'm just about of the same opinion as everyone else on this game.
1) Obviously the energy(or lack-thereof). It refills much too slowly for how much you have to spend and how often you have to train.
2) In training, you don't actually get much in the way of experience unless you gold trophy every event(and if you don't do it the first time through, you waste your energy)
3) Game shooting opportunities are a rarity. I've been luckier than most players in the comments, I get about 2-3 chances per game. I still haven't lost a game, but I won the first and drew all the rest (the next 4-5).
4) Constantly having to refresh the game is annoying. I haven't had to during a game yet, but I frequently have to when something starts to load then the screen just goes dark and nothing is clickable.
The game idea is amazing and the look and depth of it(at least in the first season) is fantastic. But these things make it not unplayable, but just plain unenjoyable for me.

Started this game gave it a 5 star rating. After playing through the first season it's down to 3 star. Hook up with Natalia, but after winning the season I celebrate with Kelly??? There's nothing but practice and games during the second season, no interactions with agent or anyone else. Nothing like playing a Striker's Elite (100 coins) and getting one (ONE) shot on goal...or using a Deadly Striker (250 coins) that's supposed to give me LOADS more chances and actually only provides two shots.

With those recovery boosts received in the science center, the whole energy thing seems bearable to me. I strongly agree to those proposing a non-energy-consuming and non-beneficial training program which gives you the chance to practice the game mechanics. Come on devs, that cannot be that hard and shouldn't interfere with the partial pay-to-play approach of the game.
What _really_ annoys me is River Park's so called "defense". Until now, there was NOT. A. SINGLE. MATCH. for me ending without any of the opponent players scoring a goal - even if the opposing team is one with great defense and lousy offense. There's at least that one defensive player "scoring one of his rare goals". Joke's on me, it seems.
Besides, truly great and addictive game - I hope to see more of this!

Why am I the only 1 on the team that can score. My team is useless! And why do I need dribbling and passing when I never get to pass and I can onky dribble once every fifth game!

Have they reduced the number of opportunities for Striker Pro?! Just used it and got one opportunity in the whole game. Missed it and lost 1-0. This is getting really ridiculous.

this is a great game,but has a lot of bugs..example : every 10 min. it shows black screen or i need to refresh or somethink..everytime

Lol! Peterson For Man Utd.. for what for being a mediocre trainer than only knows how to yell and blame the central forward when the team loses and he is so blind that cant see the HUGE problem on the deffence and the midfield

lol. i need to pay to continue playing... bullshit, Kongregate is for free games, and this isn't free. i used up my energy, and i can only get new by paying. how was i supposed to know i needed to save up energy because i needed it later to get ahead in the game? interesting game-concept, but this is ridiculous. such a stupid design flaw.

So many times the game would lose connection after I scored a goal, so I'd have to refresh and then the goal'd be gone. Fun game, but that has cost me so many games.

this is absurd, at first i was addicted to this game on simple premise and style, and i usually HATE any kind of sports game. THATS how good this game WAS! now with connection problems getting worse(so bad i have lost a few matches because of getting reconnected right after a goal and losing said goal due to it being counted as a miss!)and with shoes being a main point in getting better AT ALL in the game! training does diddly, and training on anything other then the highest lvl training is pointless because you wont get the points for it. so if you dont invest in passing or dribbling asap when they come around forget ever getting them up! not being able to buy boots only trial, i mean really? glitches while in training as well will force you to miss match fitness! not to mention video and sound glitches! If you can spend this much on getting the game LOOKING nice you can spend twice as much on getting it to FUNCTION right!

I don't think you get nowhere near enough chances in a game, and you find yourself losing game after game. how can you enjoy a game you are forced to keep losing?

Just lost a game 0-4. Got 1 chance, and it was NOT the striker elite I paid for and equipped. Where is the complaint page? Is it even possible to get my money back?
pop us a "report an issue" form (bottom of the game screen..) telling us what happened. you should get changes with the SE tactic so well take a look for you. Thanks.
