I don't think they can make certain maps be more difficult, I'm pretty sure it is completely and purely random. If the dude who made the game were to die, it would still make new maps based on whatever seed it's using. Maybe if he changed the algorithm to make certain numbers extra difficult, but I think the idea is that if you care that much, you're supposed to buy the full version.

Am i the only one?
Who build one giant exercite of mortars and blasters to try to control one emiter then realize that i need only one blaster??

If there could be a particular day in the week, no matter which one, when the upcoming map was dificultier - isn't that a good idea? I mean the game is great but after few maps there is nothing that could surprise you or challenge you..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't know what parameters are currently variable, but since a new map is generated daily, it would be neat if they occasionally had an extra emitter or two, or slightly higher growth rate. A bit of an occasional challenge for the regulars.

The evermore version of the game is slightly to easy, anybody can learn from the older versions, but playing one a day on this dificulty is getting me in a routine... maybe the scale of the chart should be smaller with more emittors, or higher creep emitting rate... love the game, i need it, its drus!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On the after game graph, we should be able to see the exact number. I would love to see how many creepers i made and not just a line showing me a percentage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The new graphics confused me at first, Im used to playing the older versions. After I got the hang of it, the game is great! A big improvement from the past versions.

@terwerty I was... just giving my reaction to playing the game properly for once. I'm not sure why I got downvoted so much. No bragging was intended; I know this is a low-end machine, but it's much better than what I had before and the RIDICULOUS slowdown that came with it. (The specs I gave were more to show how much my old one sucked than to act like this one was anywhere near cutting-edge. Figured it would help illustrate it if I was specific.)

Just got a new laptop with an i3-2330M processor and 4GB of RAM, as opposed to my old one with a Core 2 Duo T5450 and 2GB.
You know, I figured one second on the game timer was supposed to mean one actual second, but I hadn't realized that Blasters were supposed to sound like MACHINE GUNS. :D
(Also, a suggestion for if you ever revise the CW1 engine further -- make Mortars average the Creeper depth of each square in their range with their 8 neighbors when targeting. Or just add without dividing by 9, same effect. I've been irked before by their targeting a speck of deep Creeper that somehow got wedged in somewhere without spreading out.)

hmm i was playing a mission and after a looong time successfuly destroying the creep little-by-little out of a sudden the creep ignored any defenses and started devouring everything..it was the mission for tue 27 dec..was there a timer to destroy the creep or was ita bug? pls check and fix...if it was my mistake pls ignore. thx for a wonderful game :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it just me or is there a bug involving the deactivation of the weapons' power? If you have a couple defense structures out and actively destroying creep, it seems you can get rid of your deficit by constantly clicking on the red orb on your main structure.

I like how everyone voted down my last comments, all i did was state a FACT that there is some glitch in the record keeping, if you can't deal with that FACT then you have some kind of problem...its a fact that it happens if you wanna bury your head in the sand and ignore facts go watch fox news instead of playing games here

I love this game, but I wonder - if we could "deactivate" things like reactors in the same way as weapons whilst building, it would make planning a map much smoother - I have to place them so slowly at the start to prevent a huge deficit and my death
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am in the number 1 spot in both reactors built and build packages, and I play every day, and every day I come back that my high scores are erased until I play again, what a pain

I would really like it if there wasn't a 60 minute enrage timer on the creeper...
I regularly take several hours to beat a level simply because I spend a LOT of time building up infrastructure...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
...I cant not see when the creep moves faster then your energy builds buildings you can even get out a single defense on any of these maps before your so cornered you cant fight out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Landrassa, agree. 15 minutes, gah (I grabbed bottom left to start). Probably too hard to hold center valley, much less space on top right hill to get started on plus spores fire from much closer.

1: when you turn the game effect sound off you also disables the music sound. In all the creeper games its like this. When are you gone fix this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
>>How many blasters/motars does it take to neutralize a creeper in survival mode?<< Never, the creeper is getting strong every seconds. 5 blasters on top of each is pretty safe to last you for 20 minutes, if I remember right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Been a while since I had to resort to the good old "dig in and build reactors 1 by 1 just to survive" tactic, relatively tough map today...

@peter&Rwpikul, there is actually a bug, when you close your internet connection (by, for example pulling out the cable) when the game has loaded 100%, it will not connect to knukle crackers time server, and you will be able to play 7 more games from somewhere 2010 :-D, you can reconnect to the internet once you started a game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Peter: Those are the ones who were playing the game from when it was uploaded, if you started day 8 or later you missed the first missions.

@mag74 and mattcloud - I can understand your argument mag, but personaly if I saw matt asking questions like he is I would probably think troll. Comments are to vague to determine this or not, but after reading your little message I can completely understand why anyone shouldn't rate it down. (You know, who's gonna read any of this... except me :) ) Also, a serious question about this game, it said there's some type of unknown weapon and you gotta be like prepared for it or something. It's under the "help" section thing and I was wondering if there really was another weapon that I haven't gotten to. Thx, 4/5 for game btw - a little repetitive.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And I would also love to hear from someone who rated mattcloud down why he did it.
Since comments that are rated down are hidden, I would personally only rate down if a comment is completely irrelevant or insulting
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Mattcloud - The rating down is really annoying here. There is no reason to rate down your serious questions, and this comment will get rated down by people as well.
To answer your questions. creeper world evermore is not really made for people unfamiliar with the game, I recommend playing creeper world: training sim and creeper world: user space first to get to know the game.
