"Sir, we have pushed the creeper back and can can now keep it contained on less than .000001% of the planet's surface." "Great job, lets leave" "but we could just live here" "no lets leave" "Wont all our defenses be destroyed when we leave?" "Yes, lets go" "Um, yes sir"

Basically, the deficit is how much energy it's going to take to build everything and fully load all of your guns. However it can only go up as fast as you could, in theory, deliver energy to those projects and weapons.

Drones really win the day, where blasters only keep the creeper stagnant, unless you can get a couple right at the node.

Is it bad that I'm so damn good at this game that I barely prepared for survival and still lived for quite a while without a single problem, and could have easily kept going for pretty much ever, but got bored first and stopped playing? Damnit Creeper World, you're so awesome but you've finally trained me to be TOO good at this, kinda gets rid of the challenge...

TBTabby: you need to build some collectors quickly (on high ground) then maybe a couple blasters to keep the creepers back until you build more collectors. You slowly move your line of defences foward and keep building collectors around and behind them. Always make sure your collecting more energy than your using so your turrets don't run out of ammo. If part of your base gets overrun don't worry about the collectors (and other things) in shallow ground around the overrun area, they will be destroyed no matter how many turrets are building around them. Build defences on the next higher ground and the creepers will be contained.
Turrets: Drones are only good mid-late game and should be used when being overrun and when pushing forward, don't use them as basic defences. The grenade turrets are alright if attacking higher ground but generally I would stick with blasters. Anti air missile turrets only need to cover the front line.

oh forgot something in my last comment, you should however watch out, because when they all return they will completely drain all the generated energy, so try not to build when they return...

once you have a high energy generation rate (around 15) you should mass produce drone bases, they are truly incredibly powerfull when you fire them all at the emiters with atleast 8 drones :D

I've loved all of these games, but you should really upgrade them at least a little, there is literally no difference between them. My main suggestion would be to either make the ai for the base smarter (don't send one packet to a random base at a time, make it try to build entire individual nodes at a time) or make it so the player can control where the energy packets are sent

I wonder - will there only be procedurally generated missions, or also some human-created ones from time to time? I liked some of the User Space missions...

I wanted to like this game, but it has a fundamental flaw: the defenses only work if you build slowly, but the Creeper moves QUICKLY. By the time I've got even a basic defensive setup, the Creeper is already overrunning me. I keep trying to find the right way to build, but nothing works at all. NOTHING. I've tries all the tips, and they all fail miserably. Perhaps I could find a winning strategy with enough time and effort...but I could also rip my own testicles off with a plumber's wrench with enough time and effort, and that wouldn't be fun either. Harder isn't always better, kids.

LOL I stood an hour in survival mode!!!
To others, keep in mind to hav mortars and drones to do bombing that slows or stalls the creeper advance

I beat the final boss of Creeper World 2 using only Blasters, and if it's the last thing I do, Survival Mode, I'll best you as well!

well... at 140 emitters, a glaring weakness in my defenses became apparent, and by 150 emitters, I was losing. Still haven't died though, as I've found an exploit: the creep's ceiling is lower than the height at which the base flies, thus, to survive, all one has to do is have the city "float" and never land :P Which actually gives me an inspiration for a different defensive setup...

"Well, it's taken awhile, but I've subdued 2 spawn points, and am gaining on the last 3, so I should soon win this map..." *Survival Mode self-activates* "*sigh* So much for that game... :("

In survival mode, a key piece of information that isn't given to you in the game is the OC can only send 32 packets per second. This means getting a collection rate > 32 is useless - it doesn't help very much (all it does is fills out your package storage).
I only found this out by browsing the comments - it would be nice if the game showed this limitation, eg having MAX (32) as the collection rate if you are collecting 32 or more. Not knowing this is very frustrating, I couldn't figure out why my blasters were running out of energy even though I had a collection rate of 39 and a depletion rate of 32.

I get kind of sad everyitme I teleport as I feel like i'm just abandoning the turrets and leaving them to certain death
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I caused flash to crash with so many guns on screen killing so much creeper... This made me sad since it took me a full hour to get my base where i wanted it to do survival. *sigh*

I've liked this game since the first one I'll still give it a 5/5, but that intro was bad. A real storyline should have been added, in what way are the people standing between the dream and reality of destruction? They are running away and letting every planet be destroyed...

I gave myself 5 minutes to set up, then hit survival, and not only am I still going more then half an hour later, but I have nearly pushed it all the way back! XD

a mute music button is not the same as a mute button. How am I supposed to rock out while playing video games if I'm forced to listen to annoying sound effects?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
survival mode is too easy. It's been 10 minutes and the creeper hasn't even left the spawns. It helps that I have 10 guns per spawn...

i still have no idea how to play this game. the tutorial is shit.
i beat a level today, but... i still think i have little to no idea what im doing... i cant even rate this game as im still not sure what is happening.

I love how my brain's too involved in the game to ever get tired of the music. I fits the game perfectly, and I still like it after playing both other CW games on Kong.
