There need to be acheivements. Some ideas:
"Escape" Easy-5 points: complete a mission
"Packet Collection Agency" Medium-15 points: build 500 packets
"I Will Survive" Hard-30 points: survive 2 hours (120 minutes)

the only thing thats missing from this series is the ability to transfer ammo packets from one implacment to another. You know when you push back the creeper and some implacments are full and arnt fireing then you start to run low on energy as you'r expanding the base. somtimes it would be awsome if you didnt have to manufacture all your ammo just reallocate it.

@rwpikul: Screw anybody that says I suck because I don't build twenty Blasters and frickin' inch them toward the Creeper constantly, or fill the map to the brim with Collectors and Reactors. I carefully align everything to a square grid, so I don't achieve maximum collection, and don't build more than six of each type of weapon. I wouldn't suggest that strategy to people, but it worked for me, at least before this shit happened.

@Foxboxx If there's something wrong with your internet connection then it will not be able to find a date and default to October 2010 - it does not use your computer time so people can't change their computer clock to access new levels.

How come I can only occasionally get missions from October 2010 to load up? It will say "Dreaming..." for a while, then they'll appear. It will let me play only one of them before loading the November missions.

I just finished today's level in 'survival' mode; contained and then advanced on the creeper tsunami, evacuated the city and everything. Couldn't cap the emitters though. It took a solid line of mortars, and the island was carpeted with reactors. Energy collection was balanced at 33.3. Mwahahaha!

I agree with rwpikul. I've never come even close to the 60 min mark, and most of my games end around 30 mins. That's while overwhelming every creeper node as well, just for kicks. If you constantly lose to the 60 min survival trigger, then you just honestly suck.

If you are taking over an hour to clear a map, the problem is that you suck. I _am_ a steady and diligent player, and going over 30min is rare. The only way I could see a map taking over an hour is if you are trying to drain all the creeper by blasting away at the leading edge and never advancing.

After sixty minute, it condemns me to failure? WHY must the steady and diligent players be punished? I don't do that speed-run crap.

Deficit is how well loaded the ammo is into your weapons and what the life points of building that are fully built are at. So if you are firing all your weapons and you are not able to reload them fast enough you will end up with a deficit. You should be able to get the output to 33 if you spec your upgrades correctly but that is the highest I have seen so far. I generally only build enough reactors to make about 34 energy and then I dont bother with storage as you are generating more then the max output. You can disable or disarm weapons also if you are getting to large of a deficit to the point that you are losing buildings.

i thought i knew what deficit was but i have 40 energy gain 109/120 stored up and using 32 energy so.....what is deficit?

So far these levels are boring, just plod forward slowly accumulating energy until you rule the map. Bring back the spore attacks, those were fun. plus if you agree

@EatThe Path Your observation is correct. Odin City is capped at 32 packets. You cannot request more than that in a single dispersal unit of time. Part of the challenging game mechanics.

after a ridiculous amount time of setting up(over 18 energy production and 300 max energy and a solid line of turrets), I clicked survival. THEN I WON.

Accidently left the game running while I took a shower. Already 80 minutes in. Arrived 17 minutes later. Defenses 100% intact. NONE SHALL PASS.

Don't use drones on survival. Don't even bother with mortars. Put as many blasters as possible on each emmitter. Like, literally one in every spot where it can reach. Then, fill up the rest of the screen with speed panels and reactors. Maybe a couple of storage panels, but make sure your speed is capped (the max is 32, just spam a few dozen speed panels, and you'll definitely get to it) and make sure that all of your blasters can fire at the same time without having your consumption exceed depletion. Then, wait. I'm about half an hour in, and that still seems like it's working.

It seems like something is broken here. In survival, I have power production way over my power consumption, yet when I add any new construction my defensive line suffers. It seems like power production, power transmission, or power consumption display is broken, and I'm betting its transmission. It seems to me like the number of packets transmitted is capped at 32, one per frame. This is pretty frustrating to me.

i got all preped for survival then my base couldnt seem to send enough ammo to supply my tureets even though i my storage kept on stacking T_T
guess theres a limit on how much ammo the base can supply at one time

Helpful little hint. Before starting survival mode, either have 5 blasters on each spore or have a HUGE line of weapons to hold the line. Oh yeah, make drones. Lots and lots of drones.

For people who don't want a level to ever end, go to... Help>Units>Odin City and read the bottom. clicking on Odin City's green orb will disable sending Totem Packets, aka you'll never escape.

64 minutes on survival and to be honest I'm getting bored D: I have 17 blasters basically cutting the map in half, the rest is made of speed, storage, collectors and reactors. The blasters are every 2 or so blocks apart starting from the island at the top downwards to just in-front of the lump of land sticking down at the bottom. the noise is horrible but my energy production is 72.2 with 400 stored :D I can haz medal?

@nattyfrank there is no actual height limit (that will ever be reached anyway) - it just doesn't display the height properly past a certain amount - the creeper will still continue to go higher.

So uh I just built a ton of stuff and have gone afk on double speed for 13 minutes now on survival. Pretty simple if you are smart enough to manage your given space. GREAT GAME NONE THE LESS 5 STARS. I wouldnt mind some new buildings to differentiate strats but still with or without a great game. Bring it to my iPad please
