@kranius "May have a way to destroy the emitters, some type of a weapon that only can be used when the emitters are neutralized."
That's the way Creeper World 2 works. You can't blast off until all emitters are dead and all creeper is cleaned up.

@ xo_leathermouth : I literally just beat it. I moved Odin to the plateau to the middle-right side of the map. I then built two mortars where I saw where the Creeper would start to pile up. I also built a blaster on that top ledge (where the natural bottleneck is) so that I could fill in that canyon with collectors and reactors. I put up SAMs just after finishing the mortars and blaster. Good luck!

Here's a tip on how to start on Dec 8 mission... Firstly, move Odin City to the highest elevated part on the right side of the map. Then, build energy collectors because energy is the most important thing in the game. Build at least 1 blaster and maybe some drones to help kill some creepers so that you can expand your control of the area... Lastly, Happy winning :)

My house rules to get a better challange:
- it is forbidden to move Odin city
- no storages
- no drones
- no reactors
- no on/off switching of anything
- you can move mortars and blasters only to places, where they are connected to the grid

"SPEED!!!" 3 exclamation marks! but the text is still tiny. thus, i can still press up by accident and lose cause i try to play without pausing for more of a challenge.

@ dead_man27 (a few days ago- but still) It's possible to reach 7 days around October 2010 if you play while disconnected from the internet in addition to the days that are normally reachable, so having played ~25 days is legitimately possible.

If another creeper world is created... it would be cool to have it so it reproduced... Ie. once it reached a critical depth, an emitter was created... but also that emitters could be killed. of course the new born emitters would need lower health but could 'mature' to have higher health. So... the story can be about the city reclaiming land. The level ends when all creeper is dead. Need twists to make it playable... like the less creeper surrounding an emitter the more creeper it produces as a defence mechanism.

Oh god... the totem is less than 3 blocks away from the spawn point. I needed the support of 10 mortars to even get close...

Nearing the end of a mission, I look at the way I have networked my collectors across the map, and how I have inched my way from one edge to the other, covering everything in my wake, destroying the creeper in my way, and I realise, the creeper and I, we aren't so different

sorry for double posting, but what if you just kept Odin city flying around after you hit survival mode? wouldn't that allow for ridiculous times?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game glitched on me. All of the sudden it went into survival mode and i didnt even have my hand on the mouse? And dang it i was about to finish!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well there's an obvious hacker that claims to have completed 25 missions when there's only been 21 (been out 15 days +6 original previous days) i'm sorry but why do people do that? its almost always so obvious ):'

I am curious. I see many comments from people who say they beat Survival mode. The way survival mode was designed, it keeps going on forever, with the emitters increasing in strength by 100 per 15 minutes. For a while, the player has the option to connect to the totems and fly out, but that's not beating it. That's simply ending. Survival mode was designed for those players that wanted a knock-down drag-out fight with the unrelenting creeper that would inevitably arrive after a while (which is why OC always had to leave). True survival mode is to see how long one can live after it kicks in without leaving.
It will end when every cell of the map is covered in creeper, so even if one flies OC over the map, once every cell is covered in creeper, OC will explode and survival mode will end - in defeat. :)

Dec 5 level half hour in, all emmiters pretty well controlled, I decide to hit the survival button. First, though, I build up something like a hundred(or so, totally guesstimating here) blasters and a few dozen mortars, with seven or eight SAMs on the border, and hit it. Let me tell you, the lag alone nearly killed me a couple times, but I constantly moved replacement blasters and mortars in place, and managed to hold the creeper off for another 28 minutes, with emmiters at around 250, when I went ahead and reactivated the totem energy in Odin. Gorram, I'm not trying that again.
Although, the only thing this game need is an option to watch the vast network you just made fall to the relentless advance of the creeper. That would be fun to see.

dec,5 survival, emmiters at 299.8, mission time 89:54 when i lost it. they need to add survival stats to the high scores

@benmaster: They are always opposite to the location of Odin City. Spread across a side if the city is in the middle of the side, halfway along each side if the city in in a corner.

@felds, less than 90sec...... Todays map disappointed me, far too easy, guess the Dreamscape was a nightmare free zone.

Firtly nice idea with having a new map everyday, but i think we need bigger maps now. Still the Creeper we love, but on a massive scale!!!!!
