To add to what Rellian said, weapons use the same energy to shoot that is used to build. If you build too much all at once, you'll starve your weapons for ammo, and you can get over run that way too. I generally make at least two blasters after I've got maybe ten collectors set up, just because you don't usually have that much time to claim a strategic area before the creeper swamps it. Definitely play the Creeper World Training Sim game first, the levels are easier and it walks you through the various tools.

@papale Yeah, the game's not good for teaching you how to play. Try Creeper World Training Sim.
To fight back the creeper you need weapons. To keep your weapons shooting you need energy. Build collectors everywhere. The green area beneath them is where your early energy comes from. They also link together other buildings. If everything's green but you need more energy, you can build up reactors, which don't need to be spaced out to work well. Once you've got some energy going, build up just a couple of weapons to keep the creeper from swamping you. You don't need to push back until you have more energy. Rule of thumb is 1 full collection powers 1 thing, so you can run 8 weapons on 8 collection. Or run 6 or 7 and keep building other buildings too. You may also want to add a few Speed nodes if you're fighting far from Odin City. I personally never build Storages. I prefer just making more reactors instead.

I think reactors should produce their own supply instead of just giving more energy to the main. Reactors should also have a slight regenerating shield for the closest relay or connector. And anything turret in that fractal space would receive the shield. This would make the game more risky because players would want faster supply up in the front, and the defensive mechanism also makes it more valuable in the front lines. It's risky because if the front lines cave in, then you also lose some supply as well. :) Obviously, the creep should receive buffs somehow too. But idk.

It wasn’t for me either, but I use a flash blocking add-on for firefox to get rid of annoying adds and things. I fixed it by allowing the kongregate "Konduit" .swf to run. One .swf is the game, Konduit in the top left corner (using Flashblock) I think is for the chat/stats/achievements – allowing it to run fixed it for me – hope it helps anyone else

The game gets pretty simple after a while. There should be other upgrade tokens in the game that only upgrades one damage tower for a double shot or anti-air and ground or something. Or an upgrade that creates a barrier for where ever fractal energy is, or something else. Would also be cool if the tokens could be mined instead of instantly taken. And while mining, the token activates as some sort of beacon, making the creep spread faster. The same should be even when totems are being charged. I hope this game gets more fun. :) Cuz I'm likin' it.

Have anyone played the game called "Perimeter"? Can someone from knucklecracker tell me is "Perimeter" the inspiration of Creeper World or is it the other way around?

Well... broke it. For a laugh built out an entire map to try to stop it on survival, i'm talking spaced everything so there wasn't any wasted space. Eventually I could not place blaster towers, while I could still place other stuff. Must have hit an internal limit on them. Then while I was waiting to watch, I decided to adjust one thing, and all of a sudden I got a white screen with an exclamation point on it. So much for that survival attempt. Love this game though... will probably buy the new one once it comes out, looks polished and extraordinarily well thought out.

took about 50 minutes to finish a level, and if you are new, dont build new towers, keep pushing, meaning, make your towers move forward and forward and make new towers inside where no creeper can come and then move them out and so on. thats how i finished it
