9/23 3:08 without moving, couldn't see a way to beat it with moving...bridge to the bottom left island with the city (didn't try that)? Then I tend to have bridging issues, sure SAMs build faster than a blaster, but too easy for them to pop if they touch the goop.

9/23 moved odin city, 2:29 :) paused the game at 0:00 and built a network that minimizes the amount of collectors needed to get al the totems.

Sep 18. Wow. BEST one yet. TY btw Bluesummer. good call. adjusted to use 2 blasters instead of 1, but without your advice, wouldn't have finished it.

Maybe it was asked before - it might be great to have a possibility to save some favourite missions (such as 18/SEP types)...

Geez. After 8 or so tries finally got Sep18 basically using bluesummer's tactic but with 2 blasters built as far back from the advancing creeper as possible so they have time to fully energize (could just deactivate.) Then fly both of them to the high ground followed by Odin a few seconds behind. The two blasters clear the whole high spot and neutralize the emitter just as Odin lands. After that you can add a morter that pounds the middle emitter while you leapfrog blasters onto the left emitter. Then you can build up reactors and drones to support the advance right.

For the 19th, quickly land 3 blasters on the high point to the right while landing Odin as close as you can. Build 2 collectors right away to charge the blasters and you have seized the high ground!

2 days but finally got the 18th. That the creepers that one did not have spores. Had to go with the modified 2 blaster to highest point strategy that worked well for the others. Send one blaster to the left emitter a few moments before moving the other and Odin City to the hilltop. From there I was able to get some mortars online and secure my escape.

I did the 18th from the right side of the screen - started 1 collector and 1 blaster, added collectors where they fitted, then a mortar which I flew around a little bit to wherever was needed while adding a few reactors, an extra blaster, then a drone. Drone to keep levels down to ease pressure on blasters, couple more reactors, more blasters, and from there it's easy enough to finish.

9/18 8:57 made 2 blaster right at the start(haulting production so i didnt hit a deficit) and then took the highground at the bottom left built out from there using a total of 9 blasters and 1 mortar. pm me for screen shot or strategy last time i posted a screen shot it just got a bunch of negative votes lol

So I've managed September 18th using Bluesummer's method (for which much thanks!) But would love to know if there are other methods. I've tried various positions on the right, but never manage to hold out more than a couple of minutes. Any advice?

Sep 18. got me so many times, I finally got a foothold off to the right and made progress inch by inch.......and then I hit 60 min.....so much disappointment.

Kept needing two blasters for Sept 18. 9:38, there's probably a few ways to trim time, but I don't see that much coming off since there's not much in the way of bridge possibilities.

I got a 9:23 on Sept 18 using the single blaster build before moving blaster and Odin City to the top. Damage to Odin City was huge, but the emitter finally capped and the build started. Ended up capping 3 of the emitters using 7 blasters only. No drones or mortars.

Enjoyed capping the emitters at the end of 9/19, then doing controlled releases to fill in the two lowest areas. Recapped, and had myself a beautiful green landscape with two deep blue creeper-lakes.

Like others have said, I had trouble with bluesummer's single blaster approach for Sept. 18th's board. I instead made two blasters, set directly East and West of Odin city. When they begin firing at the creep, move them to the place specified; while they're loading, select Odin and work out your placement. I was surprised that it worked, but it did. Good method, and I've used it in a similar fashion to complete Sept. 15th's board too.

With regard to 9/18/13's map, I would say move to lower left side of the map immediately. A single blaster is the only thing you really have time to build, but if you're in the pit at the top of the map you can't shoot fast enough to stop the creep.
The lower left has a little high point that allows a blaster to be placed on it a little later in the map. i don't suggest trying to claim it right out the gate.

Kenaron, if you played the earlier CW games, you'll find gazillions of tutorials, and CW:User Space pretty much forces you to use every trick in the book, although it's still lots easier than a challenging CW:E map.

Followp to 9/18/13, if you build 1 collector and 1 turret, then as soon as both are charged build another turret, pause, send the charged turret to the furthest southest location it can fit on the top of the tallest cliff, the uncharged one exactly above it, and move odin city, that works. The one turret method I couldn't get working.
Still, this game gives no instruction on how to do this kind of mess. The random maps are just RNG without consideration for how difficult it is. Too much variation between highly casual and Dark Souls of flash RTS.

I have tried every single variation of Bluesummer's method. Every single place to put the turret and city based on what he said and nothing works.

If you don't want to use the bluesummer technique on 18th Sept another (harder) option is: pause the game, move odin city hard over to the right on the high ground. Place a collector such that it will capture the upgrade and a blaster also hard over to the right. Unpause the game. As soon as you get the upgrade selection 10% more power. Place a couple more collectors. As soon as the collectors complete build a second blaster. Careful placement of this second blaster is important. It should be to the south of Odin city but able to cover both sides of the little very high point on the map. Now build a generator to the south of Odin city. Slowly alternate generators and blasters till you have a good foothold. A score of about 6500 is possible this way.

Love Sept 18th. Went to far right of screen to get power up and just built a mortar in time. Slowly built out from there - took over 20 minutes to beat it! Awesome stuff though, they've been really easy lately so it was nice to have a challenge.

On Sept 18th, you have time to build two collectors, and then two blasters. Move the blasters just before moving Odin city, and the city only takes a few hits.

@Kenaron Challenging is good. I'd give it 6/5 after today if I could. And i freely admit I couldn't have completed this mission by myself

9/18/13 is rediculously unfair. I moved my base the ledge just south of the rightmost powerup, making an energy boost and a mortar. Barely had enough time to build mortar and not get destroyed, I spent the next hour inching foward, sure to build a drone hitting far off pools of high creeper. I eventually get a breakthrough, claim that peninsula and begin westward push. With the creeper on the largest mountain under control, "Survival Mode" kicked in and I lost in seconds. I've been a long time fan of this series and game but after today, I'm unfavoraiting this game and all of it's related games and changing all their ratings from 4 or 5 stars to 1.

Bluesummer's solution is a little more complicated that just a fully charged blaster. You need the blaster fully charged AND Odin with 15 or more energy. Then Odin needs to get there right as the blaster runs out so it then refills the blaster. With those two factors you'll have enough to clear the ledge and can start building from there.
