@Takiza: hawk45 has a time of 1:10 for 3/23. If you click on (see all) for comments and dig back, you will find it. 1:11 was my best time. Glad to see you are enjoying the game. :-)

Actually that pic had maybe a second delay in total in the pausing, etc...it was in the end 1:17. But I tried again, & got 1:16 a second time :). I think that's the minimum time...I did my best for absolutely zero delays anywhere, even using only 1x speed, & it was still 1:16.

Pic: Strategy = place the collectors like in the pic, turn off build & totem until odin touches down on the green square, pause right before it does, enable build, get upgrade panel open ASAP the moment you get the upgrade, get 10% more energy(after this all you need is to charge totem), close & press P IMMEDIATELY, enable totem, and unpause.

WOOT second try, 1:35 :D. Only 15 secs to beat the epic hawk 45 lol. Hehe...speed wins are much more fun then I thought.

@UgAhgItHurts, I had only one blaster and one mortar (and about half as many collectors). Once I had cleared out most of the creeper, I used the mortar to bridge the bottom totem

Ranger, production maxes at 16 on the kong version, 32 in the dlc. Furthermore, the creeper continues to get stronger and stronger in survival, and there is a point where even dozens of turrets cannot cap an emitter. The bs is strong with this one.

I like to think of it as a challenge. I often don't realize there is a faster way to finish a mission until someone beat my time.... Then I'll start over and try new configurations

1:18 (Odin at top, 10% more power, 6 collectors), but I couldn't crack 1:15 yesterday. All long maps or very very short maps lately, where's the interesting 2-4 minutes ones?

@loverofish: Sadly, the game caps the output level. I believe the max output is 32. So if you are producing over 32 units, you need build no more collectors or reactors. Storage is probably the least used tool.

3/23 - 1:11 after many variations on the same 5 collectors. I even yelled at the collectors to go faster. It didn't help.

13:18 - march20. 1] grab right two upgrades, then left one. 2] head NW and make 4 collectors followed by reactors. 3]when there are 5 slots left on your little island, make: one mortar, three blasters, and the final reactor. push south 4] make SAMS 5]use blasters to push south to left fill up each slot with reactors until you have about 30. 6] make a couple drones and use them to helps blasters push the two SW emitters. 7] head back to mid and push east. use surplus energy on speed and more drones

Thanks for the hints...got through it...took me 57:33 but I made it. Only used 4 drone bases which was rough...6 might have been better, but was on the ragged edge with energy just keeping 4 running with 3-4 blasters until I got those first two emitters locked down.

3/20 - 13:27. Waited until I could expand south from the NW corner before building drones -- it takes two blasters to protect while the drones are being built. Focus on bombing the leftmost emitters first, and then capping them with blasters. Continued building drones, storage, and speed as long as there was energy in reserve. Used drone carpet bombs to clear a path for the last line of collectors that stretches east. Final layout: http://imgur.com/Q1Y33Yx
