This game is boring... Tutorial makes no sense, The 'creepers' move too fast, and I just think this is a waste of time...

Emitters at 425, half the map covered in creeper up to 6 elevation, energy deficit over 200, secondary line of blasters losing health, remind me again of plan B?

Dec 23: 1m33s (9748pts) using the most economic placement of collectors I found. I don't think it can be faster than that.

December 23: Cleared the map in 2:00 flat! The totems were placed so close together and so close to the high ground that all I had to do was move the base and place a few collectors.

Dec 22: I took close to 14 minutes on this too, so much goop to clear. One blaster will hold the top center, and you have like 2:30 to get that built, so move the city within 5 collectors of reaching that point (however you want to build). Probably can't cover both sides, but blasters 2 and 3 can stalemate that for a bit while you build up some collectors and a drone. Survive the spores, work your way up bottom of map and start capping emitters. Since today's map is move, build 7 collectors and go, I'll have to see what else I can do with the Dec 22 map :)

22nd isnt really hard... just move to middle island and focus on building collectors to get the 2 upgrades asap... get the energy and build faster then fill the island with collectors and reactors and place 3 mortars on the side the creeper is coming from and build a sam at top and bottom, get a blaster on the right edge of the island to clear a spot for a relay, then connect the middle and the far left piece with a relay and get that filled with collectors, build more mortars clear more creeper and then advance to the totems took about 40 minutes...

no, todays level is not an insanely hard level. "the butterfly effect" IS a hard level. the strategy used there can be used here, but with much less pressure.

I went down against the side of the screen to the bit of higher ground at the bottom on the 22nd Dec map. Only need two blasters at the most to protect a single relay from one side. Built up energy, then used drones to clear the middle island, and the rest is just like a normal map. Took far longer than any other map (I think 23 minutes), but was hairy-moment free.

@jag216: I beat it going towards the middle to get one upgrade, then building down, towards that higher land on the 'south', keeping two blasters at the lower land preventing the creeper to destroy the connection. Then, you build a mortar to basically cap the southwest corner emitter and, there you go, you can start pushing forwards with the blasters, while having some energy. If you prefer, you can build another mortar on the starting isle, so you relieve some of the pressure at the blasters. It took almost 55 minutes for me, but it worked pretty well. Just watch out for the air attacks.

My suggestion to the creator, perhaps add a way to build something instantly, maybe make it cost more energy to do so? otherwise I'm pretty much enthralled like always...

Yes, today's level is darn near impossible. Build on the left with protected node to center and then use the 10% cheaper option. There is not enough time to grab both plusses. But even then, you have barely enough time to start building mortars on the center island before the air raid comes and either a) takes out the middle island, or b) takes out your turrets defending the nod in the lowlands. You can't build just on the middle island - even with reactors there is not enough time to get power, stave off the wave on the left AND build enough anti-air to beat the air raid. With the first air raid half your island is gone. Game over. Can't build a mortar fast enough in the bottom left to stop that generator.

For 12-22: You cannot build both down and to the isle at once. So, only build your starting area and across to the middle island. Guard the 2 connecting collectors with 3 blasters, then build up the middle island, first with a mortar so it doesnt flood, then with reactors, Sams, etc. Once you have stabilized, you can build towards the bottom island and guard the connection, then push all the way across and take both portal-points. Then finally push your way from the middle island to the top left portal point and win. 7300 score which isn't great, but this was a tough one!

seltje, move city to middle island, secure it with 2-3 mortars and 4-6 SAM-s, then build some reactors and start taking back right side of map...

@seltje build towards the upper zone asap with collectors, i had build first inside the isle, then up, then left. About mid way to the upper bottleneck, start building the first blaster and move it when it has some bullets, by the time it runs out of bullets your collectors should have connected to him and get a steady supply. Build a few more collectors inside the lower safe area, just a few before building the second blaster, which you should place near the bottleneck closer to odin city. Build more collectors linking all the lower safe zone and the middle island. Build a second blaster for each bottleneck and a drone so that the middle island is always over the creeper. The rest is cake after that, if you dont get to advance you have place for some reactors if you need them.

Extremely difficult and infuriating game, but winning makes it all worthwhile. addictive and time consuming, the best game to stay up all night! unique map graphics and game style. 5/5!

@Peter1x9: It's not so difficult. Take the middle, protect upper right with blasters, then mortar/drones can rip the creeper apart (=>28min on first trial)

Today's (12/22) was pretty tough. I had to restart 3 times then finally found a working strategy. It still took me 42:44 to beat it. You never know what kind of mission you are going to get. Pretty fun and awesome!

Oh crap haha i was doing ok almost connected all 3 portals and then i forgot to weaken them and they had a wave and destroyed half my collecters and all my blastars...
