I love this game because it is dark yet whimsical. I hope to see a sequal one day! I gave it 5 stars! I had a uncle that was in a Coma and he had strange dreams while he was out.

Do you guys not see the point? There is no point. Enjoy the game as it is. Attempting to uncover the "secret meaning" is just a waste of brain power. There is no answer. Maybe, in future, Thomas Brush will release a sequel for Coma, but for now, there's this masterpiece to marvel at. Be thankful that this game invites you to a whimsical dreamland in which you can explore without a worry in the world. It's a beautiful little game, a short but enjoyable fifteen minutes, and despite its few flaws, it sums up to a well-deserved 9/10.

Yeah, that makes sense. When you're in the silver chute there's writing on the wall that says "wake up Pete", thus revealing that you're in a coma the whole time. When I first played this game, I thought the objective was to save your sister from the basement. But when I reached the basement and the bird said, "I lied", it gave me chills. It wasn't much but that was probably the scariest moment I ever came across in a game.People, the lady in the sky is actually the "good" thing that tries to help Pete. The bird lies all along and kills Pete (As revealed in Skinny when you find Petes Tomb)

i completed the game 3 times, but i could not get Pete to do anything other than ring the "dorebell". is there some other way to do it?

first time i beat the game it didnt count thought i did something wrong and the bird chirp sounds like its saying "pete" and in the boat the man can only be seen in the river

i think Redwind Field is really rewind field because when the worm spits you out you are kind of back there instead of continuing on.

Indeed ... 'You will see me soon !' - that is filled with hope. And, 'Your eyes are opening.' After some quality time on chat, for a change, I finally got to ring the 'dorebell' though was idle sitting on the boat there for quite some time. Hm, I am wondering, is there any other possible ending ? The boat looked like it was floating on the river Styx ...

well , not there yet ... as it's layed out 'til now, for me, I'd say there are two possible endings. One is the Styx, if you know what I mean - and it is outspoken by the graphics, or the other one is the light shiny 'dorebell' . Indeed, Seeyee, simply sublime and wonderful - well put. Well, it is about time I'd got back to it. Wasted about an hour idleing on chat ...

I, to be honest, Don't think Pete died. The bird, who if MrHedge64 is correct, is his mother, says "You're eyes are opening!" and (nobody seems to acknowledge this), "I'll See you soon". I for one, believe Pete wakes up in the end. I don't quite believe that phrase could mean much else.
And now for an off-topic/game thing, this game is aboslutely inspiring here....the music is very well done, the art for it is exquisite, not much to not like about this game 5/5
To be honest entirely, it actually inspired me to write a story. :D Not so much all the themes more than the Red Wind Field, it's look seems to give me potent Deja Vu and...nostalgia...

Sorry for the double post,but i came up with a part 2 to MrHedge64's explanation. Here goes, when you used the trampoline to jump into the sky, Pete was almost about to be gone forever (dead,sorry), however the nurse,as MrGedge64 said, said something like,"Don't you want to play ball with your friends again?" And, when you freed the bird, which was the mother, that was when she arrived to see Pete. And, the reason behind the doorbell thing is that the mother kept saying like,"Come home with me and we can ring the DOORBELL and be happy at home. + this so this is with the first story.

♥ Beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Enjoyed this game beyond words. I truly loved the surrealistic subconscious imagination Pete was in. The deeper meaning of the story, is.. just marvelous. I especially adored the music. Respect to the creators of this game, of course.
