Too many games get away with artistic visuals and sounds, but no true art to the game, just a skin of art over a plot that doesn't exist, many games like Loved DID have real plots. But games like this just make me sad.

What the crap just happened? That was just weird for the sake of weird.
Also, loss of points for misuse of a contraction. You said "you're" in the ending, when I'm pretty sure you meant "your". It's a shame to have such a well-conceived world and yet, no spell checking.

A good game should never leave you in the "dark" so to speak about what to do. The hidden switches, the dim lighting that hides them, and a variety of other annoyances keep this game from getting a higher rating. However, I really like the increasingly dark atmosphere, and while I wish there were more legit puzzles, I can't stand in the way of art. 3/5.

decent game, liked the artwork, although its a lot easier to produce those sort of levels with side scrolling games and silhouettes.
Once again however I find myself wondering if I have actually played a game, there were some really good elements to it and some very poor elements to it as a story, as a game it needs a lot of work.
give the user a challenge in some way or other and you can improve the game tenfold instantly, give them choices which allow them to impact the plot of the game and again you have improved it. I would love to work with someone like yourself on a game as I do not possess the art skills to produce something that looks good

I shouldn't have to adjust my monitor to play a game. It was too dark, and too ambiguous what could be stood upon, to the point where I just held down jump and ran around until it let me through a new area. I liked the music and the art was kinda neat... but this isn't so much an arty game as it is "hold a button to see the video".

This game is terrible.
Wtf am I supposed to do? Running around listening to some guy play the same strings on the guitar over and over again?

I've played alot of games that try too hard to stand out from everything else, and i thought this game was going to be like that as well, but the maker lives up to his name! The game has a strange story, but with the "Witty" background story to go along with the game, i think it was a great game to play. 5* and added. :)

Well, the art is... alright. But let's face it, the game sucked all around. Tried too hard to be 'deep' and meaningful to the point that it was just as deep and meaningful as Escape from Really Boring Island. Just, pitiful, and the fact that people are rating this game up (along with the other "art" games) is really disappointing as well. It would be much better if there were actually some kind of message or lesson to be taken from this game. As it stands now, it's about as entertaining as Warhol's soup can.

My only major complaint is more of a nit picking. Coma is rather a lazy name for such a amazing short game. If this game would call it something else such as "..." because of the silence the game gives me, which is part the reason it is creepy, even though there is music. Coma gives away what the problem is with Pete. By telling the player that your character is in a coma you loose a sense of mystery of where is Pete, why is this world so wacky, and in the end come to the realization that you are in a Coma. I give this game a 5/5.

This game has that certain atmosphere that gives a dark and happy feeling at the same time. Continually you get this scary vibe that coma has. The game has a little bit of puzzle solving here and there and a little bit of talking. The artwork is incredible but undoubtedly the best area in the whole game I.M.O. is the house. As soon as you start this game it is scary and ends with the one thing that isn't scary. If this game was very long then I would find flaws in it and complain about the repetitiveness. This game is nearly perfect as is and adding a sequel would not do it justice. look at the above comment(s) about the rest of my review

I love the art and how atmospheric this game feels. It takes me back to how I felt playing Knytt; beautiful and simple. I was a little disappointed by the ending. Also, anytime I needed to use the mouse, it broke the immersion for me since the mouse didn't do anything else.

At risk of getting a million negative votes, I was one of the few who did not enjoy this game. The art to me was good, but with a done-before look. The feeling of the controlls seemed slippery and to unstable. Good game, just not my type. 2/5

reasonably cool artsy game, but I don't see why people are raving over it. Also the reverse controls section wrecked havoc with my dyslexic mind.

Shitty game. Art was great, but the gameplay was freaking awful. Terrible platforming, way too sensitive controls, unclear level design, hard to see where you could stand and where you couldn't, unclear goals, all in all it was a terrible game that is only able to stay afloat on its art and everybody calling it deep and trying to artificially find hidden meanings behind everything.
1/5

Perfect. Insightful amazing beautiful to look at and listen too. Fun and intriguing to play. Best game on kongregate since aether.

This game is pretty, that's about it. Cryptic wall writing and shading doesn't make a cool game, or a good one. Especially if we can guess what happens after 2 minutes of playtime.
Art game makers, please actually put some effort into the mystery.

For WillyDeWulf, here's my impression of the end. Pete could have woken up or died in his coma. In a way, I like to think that his sister was dead (hence being trapped in the "secret basement") and he went to join her. The manifestation of Pete's sister in the coma is a brief appearance of the flutist in Shill bend. Although, there's also the possibility that his sister appears as Bird (fitting Pete's image of her as a small, energetic helper who follows him everywhere (assuming she was his little sister)). I could be completely wrong, but then, the ending is ambiguous on purpose. If you don't get it, make it up.

This is such a beautiful game. I love the ending, though the part passed the basement is a little gross... The art is fitting as well, and the simplicity of it just ties it all together.

I'm confused. Did he die? Did he wake up? And where is his sister, I never saw her?
It was a pretty good game still though.
