quite good but is very difficult. i think that the minimal design makes it focus on design and not just plonking greatbigsuperdupaindestructible pieces its a good puzzler i think kongregate should give this some badges as it is a very difficult and challanging game

@pestbeule: I use steel whenever it's more cost effective than wood. I can build every single bridge with only wood but it would cost more.

I just realized how bradleyray80 got his high scores ... he uses steel. Except for some small piece in level 7 I never used any. A game mod without steel would be neat. Only wood ... this is way more challenging than with the easy peasy steel.

a nice simple game thats still fun... the physics are questionable, but it doesnt make the game unplayable
and yes adam, we all play games for their realism...

Add an option to reinforce joints. Hardpoint placement doesn't make a lot of sense.
Perhaps another build option- Cables.

the interface could be better:
-a Continue button after successful completion (to avoid returning to the main menu)
-an Undo button while building
-a more efficient way to erase, like an eraser button that would eliminate joints and bar alike
but I still like it alot!

If your bridges are always falling it's because you are trying to make connections mid-span. If you try to connect one piece to another anywhere other than end to end the joint will just fail. For example if you were to make an "A" it must be made out of 5 pieces and not 3 because if you do it with 3 the cross bar will be connected to the two legs mid-span and it will fall apart.

heh, noobs, i make multiplatform bridges....i might post it on youtube a tutorial of what im talking about, soeey about my english i cant really brain today

Level 3 with 2300 left over... it completely falls apart but everyone makes it over. I challenge anyone to beat that.

I'm rarely harsh in my ratings and critiques, but this one deserves the 1/5 it's getting from me. Your tutorial doesn't explain things clearly enough. You say that triangles build the strongest bridge... I've had complex webs of bridges fall under their own weight for no reason... and yes, I'm using the anchor points. It's as if conjoined pieces say "SCREW IT!" as soon as you hit T and throw themselves into the pit. I've managed to make the first two bridges work. Both times I've set up structurally sound bridge designs and the thing doesn't even last long enough for someone to touch it. Both times I've managed to pass it, it's been a single steel bridge with single support beams coming straight down from the anchors.
Fix it, please. This could be a fun game.

Money Left:
1-1000
2-1100
3-1700
4-1400
5-6000
6-2800
7-6600
8-12400
NOTE: If a joint is added mid span then it will fail easily. All joints must be end to end. (in fact I am not sure that a joint exists at all if it is mid span because they just fall apart)

The physics need quite a bit of work, or at least the way the game views joints. Build a model bridge out of glue and balsa then stress test it, you'll see that it rarely breaks at the joint. In this game, joints fall apart as if they're held together with masking tape.
3/5. Great idea, but needs work.

Wow.. these bridges are just like -
I can't believe this works-
and then they do. Weirdest bridges I've built in a game lol

add a tutorial or something, i cant get the bridgr right, but some people seem 2 be able... i wont rate it till i can play it correct ;)
