Triangular girders are the only way to complete this game. That's why real bridges are built like that ;).
Level 8 complete with $9600 over. I think 7 was the hardest, the joints are weak under tension so I had to hang three steel cables from one of the fixed points.

It's cool but after passing a level there should be an option to pass to the next one without having to return to main menu...
but keep it up ;) it's a good game nevertheless

hey auspice u can delete piece by clicking delete when ur mouse is on the piece or by clicking on the piece ...read instruction !

a nice mental challenge, but it would be a lot more fun if the crew building the bridge would use nails, rivets, or bolts to hold the sections together rather than duct tape.

Deleting segments is extremely awkward. You should have a "D" key or something to make it easier to do without restarting the whole map.

i agree, later levels should be unlocked when completing early ones. people like to feel like they are accomplishing something, otherwise playing games is a waste of time :) give a medal or star or something if you complete everything.

this is a lot of fun, although it's also very pointless. Later levels should be unlocked by completing the earlier ones.

Not bad. Needs more options, such as cables. Also, making an "X" doesn't seem to operate realistically. Very unique game, though.

heres what i do
the I is a steel bar if affordable
the = signs is a bar at the bottom and top
_____/=I=\______
the buckling caused by weight perhaps?
well my experience is that you cant make enough triangles with you money to be succesful most lvls

fizban, why do you think they are called games? because they are not like real world physics. other wise, why not just go outside and build a bridge yourself. and if you are really talented, you could make a bridge with out the floating points...any way GREAT GAME, i love watching the bridges collapse under teh weight of the critters.

needs an easier way to delete things! omg i accidently click in 1 spot real quick and theres 2 dots and its too close to delete

there needs to be badges i think ... like one that says ... you need 500 people to get safely across your bridges 15 award points and a badge that is called something like bridge maker or yea ... an it could have a picture of a bridge ..

The second version of my Bridge Builder/Pontifex-inspired physics game made for freeworldgroup.
i would like to hack and strangle everyone who says this game is a copy or stupid because they have no common sence but sadly id get arrested for that isntead i will copy this every 10 posts for now on.

the physics are a little off... you can put all the triangles you possibly can, and the bridge will still fail. Also, the bridges tend to buckle when there's no reason to...

not at original at all with the same annoyances of bridge it......
Could eventually be a really good teaching tool, but fails miserably in the real world of building...anything....

The delete system is stupid. It should be control-click instead, and half the time I try to select a beam, it deletes. Also, suspension cables would be cool.

Oh fizban, are you serious? Does Super Mario Brothers annoy you too? Oh, all of those floating platforms! How dare it not be just like real life!
