spike you saying your an engineering student is stupid... and means your lying... game is not realistic at all... it has no real physics involved

Alright, the game fine. Ya'll complain too much.
I beat every level with minimal effort. Just keep it as simple as possible!
Beat level 8 with $11,800 left over! But maybe it isn't fair since I'm an Engineering student.. :-P

it's actually pretty fun, and when you get the hang of it, you can pass any level with ease... i had 5k left on 8th level...

While I could complain about the physics of load over run, or the tensile and sheer strengths of the materials involved, etc., etc.... the only thing that the GAME really needs, is the ability to recognize when you are done with the level and move onto the next, without you needing to go back through the design screen, to the main menu. You should just automatically move on. 3/5 for a good idea, with poor implementation.

I really like the game. Something that I would like to see is unlimited length in materials. It could be set up that the longer a piece of material is, the less weight it can handle without snapping unless it has support.
Also, being able to connect to other pieces of material without it having to be on the ends would be nice.

the so called physics in the game are totally off. if your looking at a bridge program download the West point bridge creator

The problem is not that the the game is hard its hust that the physics aren't really working. the bridge I (successfully) build in Level 2 is impossible.
So worse phyisics than Pontifex, but WAY better testing animations! too cute :)

It would be great if it told me how much weight my bridge could take, also perhaps kept track of this, like: lvl 3, best so far: 300 lbs., or something.

It annoys me when people state "You can't build a stable bridge in this game" as a fact, when it is clearly not the case. You really mean "I can't build a stable bridge in this game". It's really not that hard. If you can't figure out the first three levels you're not trying.

good game but pretty much a rip off of this series

the only thing you changed was what the bridge looks like when you are testing it.

the first one was even more bare bones... and easy. like real easy. like if you used triangles to make the bridge, you passed. i like the addition of more options and i like the increased difficulty, so long as it IS possible to build the bridge under the requirements... it is, right? RIGHT?!?

hodld thats a great idea cool game, but it needs more options, like more building materials, a way to build pillars or something like that, and maybe like a campaign mode where you accept bridge projects and get paid upon there completion.
Also, a way to build symmetrically more easily would be good.

The steel ones really aren't necessary to beat this game. I didn't use a single one XD
And yea, try making the money limit just a teeny bit lower. I beat level 8 with more than $4000 to spare.

The game is good, but it seems a bit tougher if you do not use sandbox mode.
A tip on building bridges is to try and build big enough boxes where you get a good distance of road, yet small enoug where they don't fall apart. The boxes will also need two beams on the inside to break it into four triangles. That is the strongest structure you can build without it falling apart. It also helps to connect the bridge points at joints [the little dots in the bridge building setup]. To try and hook up an anchor line onto an area that doesn't have a preset point makes the beam fall off.

The metal should weigh more than the wood. If you build a balance of hybrid materials, you'll find both have the same weight.

For the people who don't understand the game, just make sure all your joints are supported. "Your bridge needs to be made out of triangles to be effective"
