Awsooooooooome! but heres a little bit of advice, when i play - get the first shooting upgrade, then get a helper then get the rapid, then continue to get rapids
! but dont use health until your health is below red/red!

Maybe limit spawns immediatly after a bomb? What good does it do, when there are 5 shieldies spawning on top of me once i cleared the screen? Change the spawn dude.

I agree with the comments about bad spawning, its pissing me off, this game looks fantastic and im very very impressed! keep up the good work and give us some updates on it! gj wmarsh. good game

Needs a short delay between taking hits too - If you are forced into one of the circle ones that spawns in 360 arcs you can lose all your life instantly.

Honestly it's BS that you can have like 5 different enemies spawn on different sides of you at once. Where the heck do you go? Into one no matter what?

A very pretty game, but it's just too hard. The difficulty level here is not commensurate with that of other games featured on Kongregate, and I think this is to its disadvantage.
It starts off fun, but quickly gets too tricky much too fast.

all in all, interesting game, but a little over done. Time for some criticism sandwiches

This game has the potential to be so much more, but it just about fails every aspect that makes it fun. And seriously -- what? Badges will come if the admins see fit; all the other popular games always have comments regarding the addition of badges, and I don't see the game authors having to practically advertise it.

gets way too hard way too fast, health reapir cost raise is stupid imo, playing for 1-2 mins then dying isnt fun, needs to have an end and a boss, enemies take too many hits to kill, spawning on top of you needs to stop. If those issues are resolved this game could be pretty fun,
going to give it a 2/5 for now as it has some good potential, but very broken right now.

I honestly think the pip system is really stupid...if you make them disappear then have it auto collect...if you dont have auto collect then dont make them disappear...and you shouldnt have ppl spawn RIGHT next to you

Maybe it's the fact that this is played on a computer, or maybe it is the fact that my 'd' key is messed up and just resting my finger on it will 'press it down' or it will read it being pressed down, launching me into any foes to the right of me, but this take on Geometry Wars seems a lot harder, setting it apart from the very easy Ether Wars. I like it. Good job at taking Geometry Wars to the flash community.

I also experienced a bug where after I finished a game, my number of pips wouldnt appear.........Oh I forgot to mention, I think the pips system works fine, it forces the player to multitask, collecting pips and fighting/avoiding enemies.

game is excellent except for one game-breaking problem: the spawns need to be fixed! Either make a wider circle around your ship in which enemies can't spawn or make a phase in period, like in the regular geometry wars, where enemies were stationary and immobile for about 1/2 second before they were deadly.
The best solution, however, would be to have a (short, perhaps 1/4th second) spawn 'warning', and then introduce a smart spawn circle. With this, you have a ring around your player in which he can't spawn, plus a cone ahead of him, in the direction he's moving, where enemies can't spawn. This cone should be at least as long as the distance the ship can travel in 1/2 second. This means that the player will always get warnings before an enemy can spawn directly ahead of him, but can still spawn close behind him. In addition, you could make an adjustable phase-in time, like 1/5th of a second if spawning behind the player, but 1/3rd of a second is spawning in front.

not near as good as Ether War or thats other game, um um, someone help me out here... but yea, this isnt no where as fast paced graphically beautiful, or challenging as the other "Geometry Wars" like games

5/5. I love the look and feel of this game. Very fast-paced and addictive gameplay. I'm glad the store is so simple and doesn't try and demand too much of your time and attention; keep me in the game!
