This is a reasonably nice rendering of a well tried-and-tested idea. A couple of things; the font is horrible and always have a key re-mapper so that people can choose their own settings.

Being fair, I would have insulted idiot players before now. Don't like the game, fine leave it be. No need to argue about it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The insult is treating all the comments as if they're unfounded. Rather than seeing pages of comments asking for certain changes as an attack on your creation, you need to realize that people wouldn't bother commenting if they didn't think the game had real potential. The defensive attitude you've adopted isn't reasonable. Think about what your real goal is in making the game and I think you'll come around.

Nearly everbody is complaining about the spawning, and the creator decides to insult...erm, nearly everbody that is playing the game?
It is supposed to be a fast-paced game, and if you pace fast you do?!
As soon as the front-shield-triangels appear the game is pretty much over.
2/5 as long as the this "feature" isn't fixed

If it's this text "Spawning. Enemies do NOT spawn on top of the player. They spawn at LEAST 200 pixels from the player each time. You just need to not move into them. If you play the beginning of the game without moving you can see how far the ships spawn.
If you wanted a space sight-seeing simulator you’re playing the wrong game." then you need a thicker skin!

I checked for updates and lo! There was one! But instead of fixing the problems, the creator simply insults his player base. You'll go far in life, mate.

Sorry for the second comment, but I must explain why the enemy spawning range should be extended. In later parts of the game, when there are very many enemies, it is essential to be able to move, since firepower can't take them all down. If enemies spawn too close, it will be impossible to move.

A magnificent game. Gameplay, graphics, sound, all are excellent. My only recommendations is to increase the enemy spawning distance and perhaps increase the range that pips are attracted the to the ship. Despite that, 5/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It'd be much better if the enemies spawned a bit further away, and if the pips stayed a bit longer before they go away.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
change the spawn to 400 pixels... 3/5 because you need to move and you just die if you dont and if you do you just run into them sooo... gay.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Alright, but pretty much a more basic version of geometry wars. Be origional, even the enemies are pretty much the same

Ok, Found the shop. btw. I dont agree with the choice of cereal-cartoonish space-art as the backdrop. Its just not consistent with the cleanliness of the beautiful abstract symbolism of the gamesprites.

Wow, really good! I love the colors! The playing style, and all of it. I agree with most here that it could do with some touching up. Also, wheres the poweups? Game reminds me of such classics as pompom games SpaceMutants :) 4/5

What do you mean the creator doesn't seem like a happy person? And why are people angry at this game? It's not bad... Yeesh.. Babies..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am not as fast as I used to be! Could you possibly add a easy mode? How about spawning them 500 pixels away or something. Otherwise, the game is great! Just give more options for people of different skill levels!

and too bad that the space has limits (it could warp), that the shielded ships explode on contact (our ship could bounce), that the money disappear too early and is hard to collect, ...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
too bad that the enemies appear too close, that the ship repair takes no time and its cost grows up, that there is no levels where you enter the shop with no enemy on the map...
but good music, good graphics, nice gameplay, fun upgrades.

The players upset about difficulty of moving.....
the trick is to minimise moving, its a catch you can move and get more pips BUT you get hit more from things spawning.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hell, it's so screaming to move, because these things occur just so close to you, you even don't able to react somehow!..
You are to do something with this, it feels terrible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
also another decent trick is sit in a corner as much as you can that way enemy cant appear all around you and less places to shoot. I got 200k+ so far doing these things
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
SO difficult. The problem is when those shielded guys come up cause they take some time to kill. 140'250 best score so far
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also for those having trouble against the shielded units buy the dudes that help you as they get in behind the shield units fairly easily and make ur life alot easier :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
please ohh please make the dudes that u can buy to help u have a different color or something to the rest of the enemies im always trying to dodge them as well lol.

2/5 would be 5/5 if those stupid enemies wouldn't kill you when they spawn (is it passble to program the game not to spawn near the player/making shure they don't damage you the first 4 seconds?)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's an OK game. Kind of fun, but it has a lot of flaws. The main problem is that the game is too chaotic. Anyone who's played Geometry Wars should remember that that GW was controlled chaos. GW was very hectic, and enemies were everywhere, but there was still a certain structure to it. Enemies wouldn't just randomly spawn in front of you in GW. This game would be much better if it implemented a wave system instead of constantly throwing enemies at you.

This game is ridiculous. after a certain point you can't move ANYWHERE without running into a spawning enemy. fix that and I'd give it a solid 4/5. But for now 1/5 hands down.
