make enemies spawn a little further away, or at least not directly on top of you, and this game would be a 5/5. as it is now, there's just to much dumb luck involved 4/5.

Wow. A very nice game, but there's a lot of annoying points. Enemies spawn far too close to you and the shield enemies are too hard to kill. Once you get a few of them on the screen, it's waaaaay to hard to get away and kill them. Still, not that bad. 4/5

Screw this game I hate it. Spawning should be from outside the boundary. The idiots keep spawning on me or very near me it's impossible to avoid. The upgrades are shit. -9000/10

Good game. Needs a little help with the difficulty curve though. The speed upgrades should give a discount to the weapons upgrades or otherwise the speed upgrades should not be negated. There needs to be a radius around the ship in which the enemies don't spawn. Also, the smart bombs should not only kill enemies, but stop spawning for a short time. In geometry wars, I believe when you got hit it had the same effect as a smart bomb. I think this game needs that. Star and shield enemies got really annoying. For stars-to hit them you had to get close, but it would attack you when it died, and the only way to dodge that attack was to be far away. Shield enemies would not die even after a couple hits, and having them spawn so fast made it almost impossible to get the pips behind them. Overall-4/5.

I'd love to love this game, but I just can't. It's unbelievably irritating to die because you can't tell enemies from pips, or because enemies spawn on top of you, or because health is just to incredibly expensive.
I'd recommend having a spawn warning of about 1.5 to 2 seconds, but don't increase the distance from the player to a spawn point. Also, I'd recommend greatly decreasing the health cost curve (without eliminating it) or simply adding health pickups. Some other boosters, even the typical invincibility and firepower boosts, might be an interesting addition too, though perhaps to stereotypical.

Aw man, this gets way too hard. Otherwise it would be a great one. Just make the energy price constant and lower the spawn rate of enemies and than it will be a wonder. Until then it's 4/5

Also, negating the speed upgrade when you buy an weapon upgrade is complete bullshit. I could spend like 400 pips and then buy the new weapon and it's as if I never collected those 400.

I agree with the sentiments of enemies spawning WAY too close to you. Also The scree needs to be zoomed out a bit and the health gets too costly.

gets too hard too fast because the enemies spawn like 1 inch away from you. Maybe you should have established spawn points off the screen so we can see them coming...

the Shielded enemies really make this game too difficult. The only real way to kill them is to kite them in a circle, which killed your ability to get more Pips. When they are introduced the game gets much much harder very suddenly!

Yeah, the enemies spawn to close, the pips vanish like a second too early and the battlefield is too small, it could grow larger as the game progresses.

Two main issues: First, enemies spawning on top of you destroy your chances of lasting long in this game. Second, Health gets to cost too much too fast.

Great game it was a lot of fun but it got hard way to fast, not enough time to try some of the upgrades when you spend most of your time upgrading health.

Make it so that enemies can't spawn immediately next to you/in your immediate path of motion and I would rate it a lot higher. But that's twice now that I've been killed because a sudden swarm of enemies happens to spawn right on top of me.

Rather than healing as it is, I would prefer a regeneration upgrade. You could get life back over time (very slowly), which would make a nice upgrade to purchase (increasing the pace of regeneration). If you consistantly take damage faster then you repair you, game over. This is really not that much different then the system as it is, but is more psychologically satisfying as you would gain something permenantly useful for pips spent on healing.
All in all, a great game, though.

I like this game, but i think you should make the spawn a little frequent and add an ability to attract pip to the ship.

very nice game indeed.
the only thing I want to mention is that the shielders are overpowered. If you don't kill em as soon as they're created, they'll swarm on you. if they swarm, there's no way of escape (except for the painfull one)
