well lets see, this is exacly like geometry war's.The only problem is there is no creativity from the maker. o and the enemies spawn way to close to the user.

Even if the enemies don't spawn *on* you they can appear pretty darn close to you, especially because one tends to move around a lot in these kinds of games. Not only that, but later on the enemies sort of blend in with uncollected pips. You health bar gets decreased disturbingly quickly and things that normally do different amounts of damage (Getting shot as compared to bumping into an enemy, for instance) in most shooters, deal an equal penalty in this game. You should pretty much change the weapon upgrade option to "shoot another shot from another side of your ship". I'd recommend creating a variety of weapons so that one can simply choose one and improve on him (similar to skill systems commonly used in a good portion of RPGs). Though the game looks pretty, it could use a touch of originality, because I didn't see anything here that I haven't seen before.
Hope you keep this in mind, should you design a sequel.

Ciarnec you should know what he means....
like when youre running away from monsters they spawn behind you with like half an inch ...
theres no chance dodging that 1

dunno if this happened to anyone else, but i kept suddenly losing a direction of movement. I would be going diagonally, then suddenly the game wouldn't let me move upwards. I stopped moving, then moved again and it worked after that. Beyond that, good music, good graphics, but as almost everyone else said, just another geometry wars game...4/5

the spawn system is terrible they should spawn from the sides not in the middle, the health price shouldn't go up, one rapid fire upgrade? there should be like 2 or 3 at least, and one life? that's just stupid you should be able to buy a life from the shop for like 500, there should be actual levels not just keep shooting until you die, the shield guys are too hard reduce their health, and finally i give it a 1/5 because of the problems above.

Change the spawning man, the enemies spawn right on top of you with no warning whatsoever. Also the increasing price for health / repairs is annoying and scales up too quickly, and the weapon upgrade tree does not go far enough.

nice attempt i liked it but needed more unique upgrades and better spawn nothing jumps out at me other than bright lights and pretty colors

Listen - the enemies do not spawn on top of the player. They spawn a minimum of 200 pixels away. You need to not move into them mindlessly.

me, it's nothing special, add health regen, more upgrades more lives (please) please please change the spawns, this game is good, but it's nothing to remember. 3/5

Too congested. Reduce the size of all ships by about half, and make enemies always spawn outside of the visible area.

I'm not too fond of the art direction, and the spawn system needs a lot of work. Upgrades are neat, but there's nothing that stands out and says "play me instead of Geometry Wars." GW has an awesome art style and intelligent spawning. This has a generic art style and painful spawning. Come up with some new upgrades, more unique enemies, and try to distance yourself from GW a bit. Until then, 3/5.

huge spawning problem enemies spawn literally right next to you sometime on top of you if you were moving until it is fixed not fun and 2/5

Ditto everyone else's primary complaints.
Slow, then fun, then frantic, then impossible. Keep spawns away from current player position (maybe increase that distance via upgrades) and add health regen (again, via upgrades. Maybe replace current healing with regen.)

Spawn is random and
unpredictable, making it too difficult.
If only something was shown before they spawned... Like a little blink ore something.
4/5

not even a continue system? one life? how un-arcade-like. also, its very laggy. and im running a really good machine/connection. health is also an issue. great concept, fun. until you die (die really easily) and have to start over. You have to remember as a game designer that the player wants to win. They want to be challenged, but they want to win. Not to be frustrated.

I like it. But, like others have said, i'd suggest changing the spawn a bit so they dont spawn ontop of you. :D
5/5'd though. Cause i like GW :D, and this is a good Semi copy flash version :D

there's a lot of things that can be improved... one the health price goes up which sucks 2 enemy's should have a warning before popping up because i get hit by surprise attacks to much and 3rd when the ones with shields start popping up to many come before u can kill them.

this game has potential but the spawn system is downright terrible. What is the point of playing a game when enemies spawn directly on top of you?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate when people think that this is worse than GW. This is a FLASH game, it's FREE. I like this game though. It's carefree if you aren't a hardcore gamer. 4/5

i got 133550, too hard at the end, way too many guys and and they spawn in front of me so i run into them, and hp costs too much
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
spawning is far worse than GW, all new enemies are badly implemented, collection element is bad, upgrade system redundant, scoring system poorly done, scaling bad.

This game is only made difficult by the fact that shit just spawns on you. That is not cool. There is very little skill in dodging on thing, only to run into something that just appeared. This game is 60% luck, 30% panic, and 10% reaction time.
