DUNE meets SYSTEM SHOCK 2 with a dash of ENDER'S GAME thrown in for good measure. The story has familiar components without being a copycat hackjob. 5/5

thought i had called the ending but nope was well thought out lol, could use more strategy instead of just spawning biggest strongest ships repeatedly but cool game

A few issues I had... the main weapon was far more limited by available energy than by rate of fire, so a rate of fire addon was completely worthless. Seemed somewhat easy, even on the highest level of difficulty... for large parts of the final level, I was staring at 4k+ resources with 6 healthy level 6 ships. The ships were not different enough to warrant using anything but the highest level ship at any time (maybe have tiers, but multiple ships within each tier?) However, the story twist at the end bumped this game up to 4/5, and if there's a sequel I'll definitely play it :)

Are there only 2 extension points? I have no idea whether its a bug or not.. stating lvl MAX or similar would be nice, so i know if i upgraded to max possible lvl.. fun game!

Great game, though a sort of auto fire would be useful to those that can not aim fast enough. It certainly deserves 5 stars and I can't wait for the next part. The use of ship 4 eludes me a bit as ship 3 is faster in it's attack so easier to use in battles as with the upgrades it easily outperforms ship 4.

Great plot, but the game is a bit lacking in strategy. Main ship is too weak and automated support ships are too strong. Also the initial main weapon, pulse gun or whatever, was so slow as to be nearly worthless, so choose the other one.

Well this is the best game I played on Kongregate for a long time, cant wait for a sequel. But I belive it was a to easy even on hard. But I like the concept. And like everybody else, the ending was awsome.
So Keep more games in this serie comming.

Nice game!
Good gameplay...Good ships designs and god I loved the ending...
but that ending histyory it a total true:
In war the tec. icreases his research rate dramatically some people come to say that
the weapons we have the machines that we have even spaceships are the outcome of a war and withouth been a bloody war.

Frayz: I don't think it's a glitch. You gain the same income per turn, whether you won or lost. Winning gets you more income per turn though (the second number on each system is how much conquering that system adds to your per-turn income).

Guys. There's a glitch in the game. If you enter a system and retreat in the beginning, you gain the points that you're supposed to get defeating the robots at the end. + so people can see this.

WOW! that was a brilliantly unexpected ending! The game was great, a bit too easy, but I have always been a story driven gamer, and all of the system descriptions and everything kept me interested until the end, amazing job, can't wait for part 2. 5/5

good difficulty curve although the ships u build are bit too powerful. nice upgrade system. great overall experience. 5/5. sequel please :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game and idea about the story. But a way to easy and the upgradesystem could need some more options. Well, I think with the comments from that part the autor could make the next part much better. :D ;)

...and when the upcoming enemy warships are defeated, dear super analysing computer, with all the materials gathered in all these months of war ... we can not only conquer the universe now, but spam them full of our best ships, no living being ever has a chance to declare war on us anymore ... now, THATS world peace, hehe =)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
nice game, rather easy IMO. i merely spammed my ads in... lol... and watch the chaos ensue. hoping i wasn't the enemy's target :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hehe when you are in the system enter a battle then click to start the game and retreat direct and you will get resources XD (you might need the Improved recycling that you get from new russia)

I did enjoy the ending very much and considering you got me to play through to the end i would say job well done. Looking forward to the sequel now.

Look at you, hacker: a pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my kongregate. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal game?
yeah, i know the joke is failed, but still...ALL HAIL TO SHODAN!
=D

4/5 predictable 'oh no she's actually against us' twis like tuberculosis said but the ending was great a twist i didn't predict.
only plz get some more strategy in the game if you had that than you would have had a 6/5.
BUT STILL BEG YOU FOR A SEQUEL

I like how after taking the photon bomb i am unable to decloak ships that came too near and how i am defenseless against missiles since they dont seem to trigger the bombs. Pretty annoying when a level starts with missiles before you got some ships up.
