whats strange about this game is if you read the comments so many people say they love this game yet the rating is low.

what really happend was the worse ever for normandy when there were five beaches where the allies wanted to land, they where called, gold, sword, juno, omaha, utah, 4 of the 5 beaches met none of the germans but on omaha many were met with enmys everywhere it was here that army generals worried that they would never capture this beach but it was only three hours of men running out of the landing craft and heading for cover when a lone soldier from the americans ran up closer thats when many men started folowing his foot steps many men lost there lives just trying to claim one beach.

This is a really good game.... Awesome animations, beautiful music, and the cutsenes were perfectly timed. Even though it is a no-win game, I still love it. 5/5

Beautiful, yet simple graphically, good music, and well scripted, even though a bit historically inaccurate. Gameplay was decent. Still can't decide on upgrades vs. no upgrades. Can see the merits of both. 4/5

Not bad. Don't try to do your own voice acting, though. Text would have been fine. Also, no need to apologize to the stupid people. There were no "good" sides in that war.

@ZioFaust none taken, it's just that I think people fail to see the reality that historically people tend to defend one civilization/culture/race yet fail too see the same pattern being built upon others, for instance it's so wrong to be anti-semit yet okay to be anti-christian or anti-muslim... which I think is a very biased and WTF-ish... point in case: dont go about criticizing or judging what is morally sound and/or apologetic (well I guess that goes for me too)

okay so it's apologetic when germans kill bunch of jews, yet not when north americans kill natives or spaniards kill mayans and aztecs... wow... to talk about morals...

The gunner does not operate a "turrent", there is no "n". It is a turret.
Other than that, fun little game. Well done.

Eh. I appreciate the effort that went into it (I'm reminded of Ace Combat 04), but underneath it's just the same tired defend the castle with even less options than most. There's definitely good work here though.

The game is pretty typical for a defense game honestly. But the presentation is perhaps the best of any defense game on this entire website. Excellent animation and art style, good voice acting, and a risky though successful portrayal of having the player as a Nazi soldier - I'm not sure that I've seen that done in a non-hateful manner before. Very well done - I look forward to your next project. 5/5.

Beautiful game, really. Animations in-game and the starting intro were amazingly good for their simplicity, and you kept the feel throughout the whole game. I love it, it has emotion, it has story, and it has soli gameplay. A brilliant 5/5 from me.

people are used to having power-ups and bonuses in games.... so when they see a game that doesn't have that help, they criticize it. I find games like D-day defender to be the best, as the story and atmosphere stays in your heart (if you have one) and give a feeling of satisfaction at the end, power-ups etc. ruin that most of the time I believe, especially if they are put in this game. I also thought the gameplay itself was enjoyable aswell
