jak929 they did storm with tanks but i think it was maybe on waves laterish but they did try with tanks and stuff. but they'd get stuck, most sank before the y hit the beaches. mines and the things you see people hide behind in the movies . the iron things blocked them making them sitting ducks.

upgardes would ruin the game, but Nazi allys would be fun, like you would gain reinforcements every now and then but they would also die if you get attacked to much. It would be a but funner without vehicules, they didn't storm the beahces with vehicules :S but great game 5/5

to Haup North Africa the Britts were doing fine and Dunkirk was merely the BED a very elite unit at the time but over all this is a great game

we won the war not due to better quality troops and superior technology we must give the germans a hand for that one with their tiger tanks and panthers compared to our shermans that took five to knock out a tiger at point blanck range but the only reason we won was that simply we had more supplies and simply out produced them in materials

The US entering the war cut is short but the Germans lost the war in the Battle for Britain when they lost air superiority and then at Stalingrad where the Russians stopped their advance and started advancing themselves. It's best that the Nazis won the war in Germany with their communist opposition or else it would have been Germany + Russia against most of the world but Russia covers most of the world. (and I have watched the history Chanel, Discovery, National Geographic and most BBC programs about WW2+ I read some books.

First off, BlackShabbat2, the ONLY reason you were not overrun by german forces is due to the geographical reason of England being an island. why else was it so difficult to get ' a single soldier on british mainland'? I mean without fresh U.S. troops it would have been just a matter of time. Need i remind you of North Africa or for that matter Dunkirk?

fury1202, you are completely wrong. Operation Overlord, or, "D-Day," was an assault by the Americans against the German occupants of Europe. The Japanese, (who you misspelled the name of), were on the other side of the world at the time, andd still are.

Suggestions: -get rid of the achievements, they don't belong in a beautiful and meaningful game like this. -get someone else to do the narration, someone with a more masculine, army-sounding voice.
Comments: -this is one of those games that transcends gameplay to become art in its own right. love it. -i love how since your health regenerates, you can't be killed over time. you have to be overrun to die. that's cool.

I really liked D-Day Defender, it was honestly one of the most beautiful games I`ve ever played and I had a few thoughts on it,
1: get a new narrator, I don`t if its you that supplies the narration, but the nasaily voice really blunts the impact and serious nature of the game, get someone with a good voice, female, deep male or even subtitles would be bettier in my opinion
2: don`t do in game acheivments, that also blunts the impact of the game
3: its a really good game, I like that it puts the perspective into a that of an induvidual, german soldier, I`d like to see another in the same vein
