WAAAAAAYY too much luck involved in this game. Once you use up the couple starting groups, you are completely at the mercy of the random blocks coming in with no way to get rid of the little 1 and 2 blocks groups clogging up the field.
I'll work on adding better zoom support in the future. If you play with your browser zoom level you might be able to get it all on one screen, unless it's your monitor size that's cutting it off.

I just beat lvl 9 on very hard xD Let auto attack on. First kick front middle, then rest of the front and last the other three. Like this its kinda easy.

hard and very level 6 and up any tips seems like relies on luck. Why play to win mainly by luck. You should nerf AI a bit.

Pretty cool for a matching game. This was one of the rare flash games that I actually followed the story in. I give you guys props on the ability to spell and use proper grammar. That seems to be something very lacking these days. I was somewhat disappointed in the story though. It never really came together, and the ending felt like there wasn't much effort put into it. You just get dumped into 'gauntlet mode'. It also kinda sucked that I never had to experiment with any of the new characters that I acquired. I went through the whole game using only the first 6 starting heroes. Still, for a flash game, pretty good. Solid 4/5
If you mean the Gauntlet, it's not winnable. You just see how high of a score you get before dying. I put it in as an extra for people who beat the game.

There is Really no way to upgrade. For completing the hard and Very Hard levels you get characters that don't really help in any way. An upgrade would be a smaller block requirement, more health, more attack. None of the unlocked units seem to do that in the beginning making it hard to advance with out half your team dying before half the enemies are even gone
There will be ways to upgrade units in future episodes. For this ep I tried to put what I thought would be more popular/fun units for beating the harder difficulties. For example Nuke-FU Daisy with his Splash 3 is unlocked on the v.hard difficulty. He's balanced with the other units overall (with low HP and high charge to balance out his damage capabilities) but he's more fun to attack with because of the Splash 3.

Trying to zoom in was the first thing I tried. I thought I said that already but, when I zoom it just creates the new area that should be filled with the rest of the screen is just filled with white. I dont have a widescreen monitor so I can only assume thats the problem
Overcharge gives +1 atk and +1 HP for the battle. Some units you unlock later in the game have Cure, which will heal the most damaged ally when the unit with Cure attacks

What do the blue swords mean? Plus we should have a little more death blows than our enemy or how will we ever get past a level on hard or very hard. The enemy gets multiple charges at once while we only get half that. I click on a whole bunch of the same color and it only fills mine half way. However the enemy seems to boost up rather fast. I know it's kind of the point, but it makes me not want to play if I never get a chance.
You'll have to keep an eye out for opportunities to stun the snails, that way the enemies don't get any charge! The tutorial has more info if you haven't gone through that yet

Andrew, that last update helped a lot. Level 9 on very hard mode still took a half an hour and still felt like chance, but before it would have been impossible. 5/5 from me now.
I just rebalanced the harder difficulties so that the starting board state does not have so much influence over the destiny of the match. Hopefully you won't need a restart button to get a fair chance at a level now!

Delightful little game! Two big things, though: (1) turning "Auto" off changes the tempo of the battle - meaning, you attack at the start of your turn with it off, instead of the end of your turn automatically, costing you an attack which can cost you a kill... which almost always costs you the round on Hard or Very Hard. And, (2) Very Hard (and a couple Hard levels) are too difficult - ESPECIALLY the solo Undies levels... you shouldn't have to cheese the board forever to have a chance at winning.
Can you give me more info? You load into level 1 and you never see any orbs fall into the middle? Are the units on the sides? Do you get the dialog popup at the start of the level?
