@Sarah K - Do you have to do this without joining a guild? That seems so much harder, without the bonus of the DPS guild.

@larry898 When you kill a boss (the big skull on the top-right side of the screen), you are capable of advancing to the second area. Do this again to reach the third area and unlock the magic guild. Keep in mind, however, that once you advance to a new area, you can't go back to a previous one without resetting your game.

I spent 600 gems on the increased orb income, and I don't regret it so far. minigames just unlock at a certain point in the game. Don't remember if it wa related to gold cards or DPS or anything else. Just keep playing and you will get there.

@kellcey - That would be very annoying, that's much harder to do. But you may be right. I was hoping someone had gotten far enough to unlock it and might chime in.

At first I hated it, but this game gets more and more interesting as you play it: so many features, modes, mini-games get unlocked, all to discover by yourself (nearly no explanation) - it's a pretty cool design.

How do you get enough spheres for that first blue deck gold card? Keep grinding out more DPS gains? Save up the 600 crystals for an increased chance of getting them? Something i've overlooked? (Currently, i do better with more DPS from the hunter than with getting spheres that way.)

@zoblak: it says you have to "be in" the 3rd location to join the magic guild, so i'm guessing you have to get strong enough to get there before joining any guild. Anyone gotten far enough to confirm?

I was so excited to kill the second boss and get to location 3, thinking that it would open the Magic Guild (which says you have to be in location 3 to unlock), but when I restarted, it was still locked. How do you unlock the Magic Guild?

This game still has unfixed bugs. I came back after an 8 hour AFK session on the first boss and my Warriors Guild bonus became NaN. The boss health was greater than 100%. After reset, it wen't back to zero. And now I have 1191 hours until my next mob hunting quest triggers.

It says I need "gold card" to pledge loyalty to the awrrior's guild. Well, I have gold cards. Multiple. In both the starter deck and the blue deck. So what exactly does the game want from me? Do I need a specific total of gold cards? A specific one? A specific number in either deck?

Skulls are for boosting the green chest cards when you open them. All of a sudden the gold runs and poison become far more important than DPS, at least until you get your DPS substantially boosted, and the skulls stop being useless and start being as valuable as the blue gems.

@KeeperBvK My personal opinion is that it's not worth it. It seems like you're better off getting as far as reasonably possible before resetting. Besides, you're limited to one free attempt per minigame per day, so it's not like you can grind them like you can the main game.

you get gold cards by turning all the cards in a deck to silver, then spending a large sum of money to convert one to gold.

Guild Loyalty causes the bonuses on the guild screen to permanently increase. So for the warrior guild, the DPS bonuses increase for all three of the pawn, rook, and king ranks. in the merchant guild, the increases impact the gold earning bonuses. you want to reset these daily, and laternate between merchant and warrior so they're both increasing. doing this is the only way you're going to keep up progress. don't worry about the current multiplier that goes up for the resets - you'll soon be blowing past those levels as you do loyalty resets.
as for the lifetime cards, those increase the specifics forever. so if you get the boots to level 4, you get 4x the amount of leaves per kill than you would baseline. the efficiency of the cards is for the first deck of cards (wooden chest) - so the dps, gold, and other such bonuses increase. finally, the "after reset" means that when you reset your guild, it will automatically open some chests and apply card bonuses

@KeeperBvK Minigames give you a 1% bonus to either gold or damage per milestone reached, depending on which minigame you play. Each attempt adds a 1% bonus per milestone reached instead of it being based on your high score. (Example: If I play Gold Rush twice, get a high score of 5 and score a 3 on another attempt, my gold bonus is 8% additional gold from all sources.)

Spotted a mistake in the achievements (third row, second from the right, first stage): "Hire two heroes" but also "1/3 (33%)"

@archerbob Yes, there are two cards in the green deck called Sphere Collectors. These behave similarly to the Hunters in the brown deck, where a drop chance over 100% is a guaranteed drop + that chance to get an additional one. Also, yes, red stars disappear during boss fights.

Do I get a guild's boost even if I join a different guild in a given run? I have boosted the warrior's and merchant's guild quite a bit, but there seems to be no clear indication on whether I get the boosts from both, even though in any next run I can only join one of themagain.

What's the best use for gems? It seems like the VIP cards aren't that good beyond the early game. Should I save them up and use them for extra fireflies from one of the chests or bags?

Just got to 1e100. Focus mainly on warrior loyalties with sometimes a merchant one. When you reach the end of location 3, you should be able to join the magic guild and use its multipliers to push to 1e100. (Finished with 1 ether in deck 1 and 2 golds in deck 3)

If you do the timed challenges and buy a time skip in the green-gem shop, the game freezes. Maybe they shouldn't have time skips buyable in what is essentially a short speedrun challenge.

@skyler_w The damage percentages add together, not multiplied. For example, if you have a 200% damage bonus already and you get another 10% bonus, you'd expect a 500 damage card to be dealing 1100 damage, but it'd only do 1050 extra damage instead. The math does add up in the end, just not in the way you think it does.

...adding onto the broken stats comment if I do 100Million damage per second how does it take more then ten seconds to do one billion damage?
