Most of those pieces of advice aren't great, or are obvious (like unlocking the Alchemist as soon as you get enough Ether cards). Poison (at least until the 5th Guild--Guild of the Dead, which needs reaching area 13), is not worth investing in, compared to Physical DPS. Also, the farming method suggested results in an incredible loss of resources (especially for things like Skulls, which are important after the Druid is unlocked). I am speaking as somebody that has unlocked the 4th deck, and the Guild of Heroes, and has reached location 9 (and am not far from 10).

To farm resources instantly especially at higher dps go to the monster u want to farm and then switch tab in the browser for 2-3 seconds and u will have killed all the low hp monsters reaching your dps and get all the resources instantly instead of wasting 10 minutes to farm each. for me i can get about 1million leaves by doing this from the first boar in 3 seconds

by the time u reach 6 etheral cards u unlock the alchemy hero which lets u create more then one potion at a time so u dont need to wait days to unlock further ether cards

Physical dps is stronger untill you reach deck 3 which is poison based and with the following unlocks magic and poison will be 100% of your dps. I recomend buying magic multiplier from shop or gold with crystals saved up as physical and poison dps seems to come and go throughout the game magic and gold are always constant benificial

The impossible badge is pretty easy to get.
if u log in once per day for the daily reset and repeat for some weeks. i did it with rougly 1dc merchant guild bonus for monster. The INCREDIBLE dps increase will come with the druid hero, litteraly 10 minutes after unlocking him your dps will increase with 1 QiDc multiplier which puts you way beyond the badge

I reached 7 1st deck gold cards and 2 2nd. After this you can't progress without being blocked by 24h wall of guild loyality. Getting blue card took a lot of save scumming. Btw, reason for 24h block was probably 30 minute bonus. This game sucks, but at this point I don't want to play any idlers anymore as I played most of them for the last 5 years.

goddamn it I lost two days progress on the day where I actually played for an hour. I was at 1e98 dps. I can't do this again it's just too boring

Unlike with Silver (which doesn't change how many spheres are needed), if you make the Bigfoot's Den Gold, and make the 4 Bigfoot Cards from the Blue Deck turn Gold, it will increase the cost of Gold cards in the Blue deck, immediately, so don't do that, until you only have those 4 left to make Gold. But, after you make the Bigfoot's Den Gold (and thus make those 4 Bigfoot Cards Gold), and before you make one of the Blue Deck cards an Ether card, you should use the "Roll Back" feature on the Gold Bigfoot's Den (possibly a big reason that feature is included). That will then let you make another, more useful Green Deck card Gold (for the same price you made the Bigfoot's Den Gold, but it probably won't show the change in price until you do something like making the Ether Card in the Blue Deck), and avoid the 4 Bigfoot Cards from immediately becoming Gold again, and jumping the cost of making the other Blue Deck Cards Gold after making the Ether Card.

Finally got the Impossible badge. Legit, no cheating. From the day I got the Easy badges, it took 163 more days (5 months, 11 days). This is NOT an idle game, and mostly takes a lot of babysitting or active playing throughout the day. It was a tough slog, and I was at around 77 or so, when I finally unlocked the Mage guild, something I should have tried harder to get earlier. I soon got my first Ether, then my second, and I zoomed up to 100 (Impossible badge) in less than a week. Things seem to be accelerating. Kind of crazy that I'm not quite to Location 4, and the tab mentions getting to Location 25 "for the next island". Part of me now wants another badge or two so that I explore more and see if things really do accelerate for a while, but I guess I've wasted enough of my life on this game, so will try to tear myself away.

You don't need to be at 50cVi Gold, Arus. The Merchant Guild gives you items that allow you to open any deck 30 times. (If you are at King Rank, you get 6 of them, but you get 1 even at Pawn rank). Using those, and opening the 3rd deck gives you cards (two Prepared 2.0, found in the same spot the 2nd and 3rd Ice Swords are in the previous deck) that give tons of Gold (either enough to open the full deck, or enough to quickly skyrocket your Merchant Guild so that you can leave it a few seconds after opening the cards, then rejoin, and make tons more until you can open the full deck). Opening it before you have 50cVi Gold, and using the ability to open the deck 30 times, will get you to 50cVi Gold much faster than saving up before opening the deck. If you don't get either Prepared 2.0 with free opens, and can't afford it, just leave and rejoin the Merchant's Guild.

Super worth it, Arus. If you open it, the amount of increase in money and damage quickly makes it possible to buy back those 10 Gold Cards. When you get to the point of doing the Guild Loyalty once per day, using the Merchant ability to open any deck (and use it on the 3rd deck) quickly allows you to gain a ton of wealth and reset within a few seconds several times to crank your Gold multiplier sky high quickly (which allows you to buy more cards and make them Gold for each of the three decks even faster).

@ChaoticAgenda The way i do it is: For first deck i do the hunters first to have more leafs (to upgrade sphere as much as i can than put the rest in boosts), then chieftain, desert warrior, frog brothers and then depends on the boosts, you can get a cockatoo for guarantee gold frog bonus, spider or sand knight as it has more dps than lamp and a bit under lizzard but is more reliable.
For second: 3x ice swords, 3x bandit fish, cingulata, captain, bigfoot, then shark with hands/telepath depending what you need.
Poison is bait early on and gold generating cards aren't really needed because you'll have enough gold from monsters. If you don't, just do more merchant guild runs

Anybody have a recommended upgrade order for the first two decks? I usually go for a direct money generator first like Lizard Den. I thought that Poison was going to be useful, but it turns out to be nowhere close to direct damage.

It might be stockholm syndrome but by the time you get the impossible badge, this game really does grow on you. Happy to be done, but the game does actually have its charm.
Impossible badge is just shy of entering zone 4 if anyone is wondering.

I got the impossible badge. Here are my thoughts. This game has potential. There are a variety of strategies, unlocks, and goals you could go for. The enemy hp rising after each kill makes you think about each kill as another resource which is interesting. However all of that is offset by the numbers not being very unbalanced. It costs orders of magnitude more to gold a card than it does to silver the last card, completely blocking your progress. Some cards in the deck are garbage, giving you 1/1000 the benefit of other cards. It is heavily monetized, but even those aren't balanced. If you accidentally buy the wrong thing with gems you are screwed. The achievements cap early into the game so you lose that source of gem income. I am disappointed because just as I started to unlock enough cards, decks, guilds, and heroes to make the game interesting I got the badge. It took 60 hours to get the impossible badge playing approx 1 hour a day.

I finally completed the impossible badge... to be honest, even though I see the insane time it is needed to progress further for much more (just got my second ether card), I am gonna miss this game now. I liked it despite all the negative reasons others have mentioned.

You can click on the cauldrons (once you've unlocked the alchemy tab) to get leaves/spheres/skulls! Why does nothing in the game tell me this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Idle parts of this are, waiting 24h for guild loyalty cooldown, and hero exp, and waiting for quest. It is fun if when you play litlle bit every day, to get daily card, diamonds quest goals and use 30 mim bonus after guild loyalty. As guild loyalty is min 10x upgrade for guild bonus, with 24h cooldown, there is no point idle for bigger normal guild bonus, also 30 mim gold membership speed up bonus rebuilding after loyalty. ps. Gold membership is only good for rebuilding bonuses after loyalty reset them 0. As progress will stop with normal reset very fast, it will give nothing compare to artifact upgrade, purple manna ball bonus, and shop pernament upgrade.

it is insane to me that these hack "creators" pump out garbage like this and think that making this be 1/5th less tedious is somehow worth 5 dollars on a consumer's part. is that delusion or cynicism on their part? either way it's predatory and gross. this is not a product that effort was put into. it is so lazy and scummy to ask for money for the way this content creator does
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wait do the hunter's cards from the hunter hero refer to an entire deck or to the cards named hunter? this "game" is so badly written.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I repeatedly use the save/load to efficiently buy the vip cards because the random pearls are useless until I have the cards
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
one of the best parts of this is that the barrier to getting your first gold card is so ridiculous that you'll likely free yourself from the self imposed curse of "playing" this before you start genuinely losing time to it. as people have acknowledged, this isn't an idler, and it's not well built (duh)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
id have kept playing but the discord messages in the bottom are rediculously annoying, would be nice to be able to turn off...

And it looks like another game with a save function so pathetic and full of holes that exporting every time I wanna close the page is the only realistic option.

WOW Tried to rate Balbanes comment as positive several times. Every time it just kicked me back to the top of the paige.

@archerbob: Then...you are definitely doing it wrong. It took me roughly 4 months from start to the impossible badge. You have to switch between guilds regularly to boost them all.

Why did everything reset? I've been away for 50 days, but I came back to a NEW GAME? It doesn't make sense. Where's my old progress gone?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I first played this game in May of 2023. I forgot about it. Came back now for the BotD and after 300 days away I can advance through two new monsters. Way to idle...

You have to remember that the age of games is basically over. It probably ended shortly after the turn of the millennium. More and more "games" are being designed, not to be an enjoyable game, but to make money. I know the "devs gotta eat" fact, but it's obvious it's way past that. The industry is now flooded with microtransactions and Mobile crap. We, of the console era, have been seeing it for a while: most games are now ONLY digital, so less and less physical games (discs). The other tactic, especially in Idle games, is to increase the play count as much as possible: the higher the count, the more they make the façade that it's great, like company spamming high ratings. The main way to do that is to make things take SO long, you have to keep coming back for literally months, probably a year at least, over and over. That's also why badges like this impossible badge set such a high/late standard so you'll have to do just that; it's a bit of a collaborative business effort.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Someone needs to explain to the new badge guy impossible isn't meant to LITERALLY be impossible. No wonder they shut down the forums, so they could ignore complaints!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've been playing this since June 4th 2023 and so far I have e62 of the e100 needed for the impossible badge... the going is extremely slow and I am at the point its virtually impossible to upgrade anything as I cannot get enough gold to do so.
