I've played a lot of minesweeper on windows, and the controls here seem directly opposite.
In my mind purple is flag (rightclick), while grey is remove (left click). This means I'm constantly making 'mistakes' because I get confused about the buttons xD
I've figured out that I can change the left mouse button function by clicking on the two icons on the side, however right clicking them also changes the left click function, is there any way to invert them?

GAH! My minesweeper instincts keep killing me! I'm used to right click = place flag on mine, while left click = cell isn't mined. Here it's reversed X_X.

Earlier levels are fine, but then it comes to "number of sequences" and it becomes tedious. Even if there is a way to brute-force all the possible solutions in your head and get the only one that fits, it hardly feels worth it. Challenges after the first 60 are even more so. Feels much better when you can solve puzzles by small independent steps.

Phew! All 60 main levels done in one day. And yes, all of them can be solved logically. I didn't guess or use reset-foreknowledge once.

@garcon0 Level 28's 4 Heart in the bottom right is correct. The pixel to the bottom left of that is not a lone pixel, it's joined to one on the left. See here. https://i.imgur.com/0uqQqM7.png

If you accidentally drag a string of cells off the right side, it'll hard-select the X option and potentially screw you up because you think left clicks still color in cells.

@ZBlip - Thanks for the reply :) And increasing the mistakes won't help that when you're going for 100% no mistakes, which is why a mis-click towards the end can be so frustrating when you have to force fail. I'd rather have a reset button where I can just go 'I don't want any mistakes, start over for a clean slate'

A nice QoL improvement: Remove the hints that you've already solved for. Specially in large boards, it becomes too much information. Seeing only the relevant ones will help solving by narrowing down which informations we need to use to.

Biggest issue with this is that it detects your mistakes, rather than letting you figure it out yourself. Would be nice if I could undo misclicks and whatnot, but you can't >.>
I tried it both ways (with feedback on mistakes and without), this is easier for people to start playing. But the challenge levels dont give feedback on mistakes

I finally figured out why this game's user interface is so completely unintuitive and why almost every mistake I make is a misclick. It's because the mouse buttons are the opposite way around to regular minesweeper. In regular minesweeper, you left-click for no mine and right click to mark a mine; in this game, it's the other way around. Really bad choice there.

This is a fun game, nice level difficulty progression, nice pacing on adding new clues. But the UI is a little clunky. It seems to have difficulty detecting mouseclicks when hovering.

I feel like level 37 doesn't have enough clues. Or if it does, you have to work with way too many clues at once to get an answer. Can someone give a step by step unique solution to this? Even by guessing a few squares, i'm still stuck

Some people here don't seem to understand the heart logic. It's about pixels, touching no one else. So there might be 5 pixels colored, but if one of them has a neighbor (even outside the 3x3 pattern!) the heart says just "4".

All was good until level 37.
Last tutorial was about "if demands for painted square overlap, it is localised to somewhere there and all other squares are free to clear". The point is, with crown-type clues nothing really overlaps if you already got the big one. Without actual number of squares in a puzzle and a tool to make assumptions these clues are useless.

Wow to how much I love this game. The difficulty level fits me perfectly in that it really makes me think, but I can still solve each puzzle without taking too much time. (Or at least I can so far, I'm only at level 20 right now).
Thank you for combining these types of puzzles, they are awesome. :)

on level28 on bottom right corner, the hearth should be a 5 not a 4-_-
hearts are not working, there are many 4 hearts that are 5 X pattern

okay, good game wich pushes this kind of puzzle to a very high level.
I only have one draw back... WHY DO YOU PUNISHES MISTAKES ???
I makes no sense punishing the player for making mistake when playing a game like that ! Plus the way you go about creates an alternative strategy which defeats the whole game (I could bash around remembering what is wrong and right and finish everything without thinking one second about the actual puzzle).
If you want to help people who are stuck, make a simple hint system, not that 3 mistakes then resets.

@garcon0: at level 28 bottom right corner, a 4 hearts pattern is correct. only single pixels counts as a heart pixel, and there are 4 single pixels there... 1 of them is connected so it doesn't count.

i'd love to see some tool like a flag in the saper game, becouse it would make it much easier to think deeper into any move without making a mistake

Some of the Challenge Level names overlap with the top-leftmost clue (for the leftmost column), so if you don't spot and memorize that number, it's useless to you for the rest of the puzzle. "Is that an 8 or a 9...?"

Dev: You have a problem with the heart logic. Multiple times I'd see 4hearts listed but a 5 heart x pattern, and I'd see 1 heart listed, with a 2 heart solution.

Sometimes he perceives as a mistake, if it considers that you have insufficient evidence to fill the square, it's a bit annoying
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This wasn't well made. There were a few times where there's no logic and had to guess. I don't like guessing for games like this.

Another great game, I loved Mine of Sight so was excited to see this :) The explanations are MUCH better, I picked up most of it from the previous game but tips like 'only the best for the king' really stick them in your mind. One thing I'd really like (assuming it's not already there and I can't find it) is a restart level button, I hate making a mis-click and having to 'force lose' to get a blank field, as sometimes re-entering the level even after completion remembers your last move and simply says 'solved' when you go to click. Apart from that, 5/5, please keep doing what you're doing :)
