Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Also, please join us in the Kongregate Discord for all the latest Kongregate news!

Really well done. The interface is very confusing, and will turn people off before they get a chance to try it out. The gameplay and upgrade system is great though!

I am afraid that the audience of Kongregate is not the appropriate one for your game. There is obviously (to me) a huge amount of effort and time put into this work and it is frustrating to know that many players will not realize that. The huge pullback of your game for this site is the presentation. I don't think the weird "paint" enemies will appeal the ppl from kong and lots of players will abandon the game without giving it a single chance.
I hate to say this as you've probably worked really hard on the arts and everything, but I wouldn't be surprised that if you would change the interface, bullets, enemies, etc with a more "traditional" kind of esthetic (say ripped sprites from some random shmup arcade game), people could totally buy into your game.
Also, the game seems to be destined to hardcore shmup fans as it seems really hard in general (it's kind of ahrd to say, I tried this on a shitty computer and it was pretty laggy), not mister generic kong player.
