I like the game, but don't like that if you lose one hand, the whole thing is over. Would be nice to have a "currency" count, like start with $100. For each game, it costs $10. If you win you get $20, if you lose you are out the $10. No other betting, just a way to keep going.

The gameplay is fast and fun, however as others have commented, the end of the game after losing a single hand is disappointing. Also, it's rather annoying that the mute features only apply to the game itself, and the music continues at full blast on the main menu screen.

Need to be able to choose between sets and straights. e.g. if I have 9 10 J Q K of diamonds, and also K spades and K clubs, I want a set of kings with a queen high straight.

In real gin rummy the game doesn't end on the loss of one hand. Usually it's based upon a point system, with each point representing a specific amount of money, such as penny a point, ten cents, whatever. It was a drag that I beat the computer 5 hands straight, lost the 6th and the game was over.
