Si no lo haces, después de 2 días la cabeza del ciervo estará colgada en la pared del cazador. Así que debes rescatar al ciervo inocente. Having looked at the walkthrough, I still don't know how you are meant to figure out the animal button puzzle.

The three animal heads each have a bullet hole. The height of the bullet hole in the animal head, and the color of the animal head should be enough info to solve the three bullet slider puzzle to the left of the door in the first room.

There are three symbols at the front, I guess it's means the animals.
Red for predators, green for prey, and frame for... Pet, maybe.
