I like the concept, it's fast paced and different from a lot of control war games that I've seen.

Main thing though, it needs hotkeys. 1-9 for the buildings or qwe asd zxc, or something. It's fast paced, which is one of the main things that sets it apart from others in the same genre, but for fast paced you need hotkeys.

I really liked this game (4/5).
A few things:
For some reason I have 22 Gold stars in friend high score and 21 in today's score. There are also only 20 missions as far as I can see, anyway.
I also only seem to have 2 silver stars in score even though the game shows that I got them all by doing all gold stars. The campaign score only shows 19 missions ...
Hotkeys to build/delete buildings were the main thing I missed though.
Once you figure out the strategies even getting all gold stars it not very hard, so I would really have liked to have been able to start with gold difficulty and not be forced to play silver first (at least for one mission, from then on it seems you can jump to gold for the next mission).
My main strategy: first raise food income, then get markets up to at least 50-20, then trade to wood. If wood towers get too expensive get stone towers. Dont forget to reach and hold good spots on the map.
A tip: you can build over your own buildings and stone/forest.

Superb game! Almost a cross between Go and resource management, with (I imagine) a heck of a lot of depth in multiplayer (in the extremely low-priced Deluxe version) if you can keep track of it. Unreserved 5/5, and I hope it's as successful as it deserves to be. TY!

Nice game, exactly what I was lookin' for - especially the added hotkeys would be a great addition which has been mentioned before.

Don't be put off by how easy the first few levels are, they're more like tutorial levels. It gets a lot more challenging towards the last levels, especially on gold difficulty. There's an awful lot of depth to the game as well, although it may not be obvious playing against the computer. Against other people (multiplayer LAN in the Deluxe version) who understand the game, this could easily be as challenging as real-time multiplayer chess.
