Siguiendo el éxito de “Flur” subido la semana pasada, este es el segundo de nuestros juegos de Game Slam 2011. La idea es que cada equipo de 2 cree algo original y completo en 3 semanas. El juego de esta semana es Battle Blocks Defense, de Tosh Baird y Warwick Urquhart. Battle Blocks Defense es un híbrido inventivo de puzle y defensa donde colocas piezas en la cuadrícula para que actúen como escudos, atacantes y generadores de energía. Combina piezas del mismo color en un bloque de 3×3 para construir una mega torre. Solo el equilibrio adecuado de torres, jugadas rápidas de puzle y nervios de acero te harán sobrevivir las 50 oleadas de enemigos. ¡Disfruta el juego y cuéntanos qué te parece!

the main problem i see is how bad the large red blocks are, they need a higher firerate to be worthwhile to build, 9 normal blocks deal much more damage than one super, the only positive thing about them is they aim at enemies on any lane

Either I'm missing something or this game is waaaaaaay too hard.

It can take a little while to get the hang of, but once you get there you should find it become much easier. Try to build red super towers early, and put green shield blocks (or a super shield tower) in front of it early on. That will make life much easier!

I actually enjoyed it a lot! The ideas are fun and well worked, which is tough when there are so many repeats out there. The progression of the game was the weakest part for me. As the area you have to defend gets bigger, the number of pieces you can use to build stays the same. It seemed a little more frustrating instead of challenging. But, great job for a game in 3 weeks. Your games are always very well polished which I appreciate.
