Alright game. It's a decent start, but it has a lot of work needed.
First, it desperately needs improved visuals. The enemies look all the same, which is a bit irksome. Change the shooting enemy to Me-262s and the large enemies to Bf-110s. Also, the player looks like a biplane, and a spitfire is a monoplane. Spitfires also fire 2 guns, one on each wing. The background loops nicely, but it would be nice to see some better graphics there too. I would also like to see some transparent clouds for enemies to hide in. Secondly, I'd like an increased firerate, but more realistic bullet damage and size, and the ability to launch rockets. I'd also like the screen to be a bit less cramped. Make everything about 50% smaller. If you put in the work and do all of this, this could turn out quite well.
