Open weapon shop: e (next to the generator)
*close the shop by pressing escape or getting away from the generator
fire weapon1 with: mouse left button
fire weapon2 with: Space bar

Some small tips on improving your game that don't really involve massive coding or "hard work":
1) In-game instructions
2) Pause when using weapon shop
3) Basic storyline/background (an introduction rather than throw yourself in the game)
4) Different sprites as the game progresses (this is just for a little playability. you probably took your sprites off the web so why not add more in anyway?)

you can close the upgrade menu by pressing escape or by putting some distance between you and the generator
